    The inaugural 2023 ULI India Summit is coming to the historical Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai on 16 February, bringing together a select group of influential real estate and land use leaders from India and abroad.

    Summit-registered participants may also join an optional study tour scheduled on 15 February. The fee for the optional tour is USD200. Capacity is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Radha Dhir

    Radha is the CEO and Country Head of JLL, India’s largest commercial property services firm. JLL is a global professional services and investment management firm dedicated to helping clients create value by owning, occupying, developing, or investing in real estate. Based in Mumbai, Radha drives JLL’s overall direction, strategy and growth in India, one of the most important real estate markets in the world. As a member of the firm’s Asia Pacific Executive Board and chairing the India Leadership Council, Radha commenced her journey with JLL in January 2021. A seasoned financial services executive with over 25 years’ experience in banking, Radha was previously the Group President at Yes Bank, where she headed Multinational Corporate Banking. Prior to that, she was Managing Director, Head of Global Subsidiary Coverage Group, Deutsche Bank India, and a member of the Deutsche Bank India Executive Committee. She led a relationship management team serving both multinationals and India-based corporates. Having started as a graduate trainee in 1995, she took on positions of increasing responsibility and, in 2008, was the first woman and youngest Managing Director appointed at Deutsche Bank India. Radha is highly respected for her integrity, business acumen and for building strong and trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Radha believes in the India story and the potential for thriving investment and value creation in our country. She likes engaging with entrepreneurs and advising blossoming ventures. Radha is a believer in living a balanced life with equal focus on work as well as physical and mental fitness. In 2018, Radha founded Ziptofitness, committed to the idea that fitness, good health, nutrition and happiness & success go hand in hand. Radha is also passionate about building communities, infrastructure, responsible consumption, educating our nation and empowering our girls. An avid sports fan, Radha diligently follow cricket and tennis. She is trained Indian classical singer and her passion for music has led her to create a music YouTube channel as well.

    Sid Yog

    Founder, The Xander Group, Inc.

    Siddharth (Sid) Yog is a global financier, entrepreneur, educator, and philanthropist. He is the Founder of The Xander Group, a global investment firm with offices in Singapore, India, the United Kingdom and the United States, that invests in, and sponsors, independent financial services and real estate businesses and partnerships, in private equity real estate, private debt, public equity, and retail and hospitality. Mr. Yog is also Founder and Chairman of the Board of VR South Asia, a Singapore headquartered, owner-operator of community centric, regenerative, city centers in India, with a portfolio of 14 million square feet across 9 urban centers. In 2015, Mr. Yog set up the Yuj platform that comprises Yuj Ventures, Yuj Kutumb and the Yuj Foundation, with the former investing in global start ups and fast-growing private ventures, and the latter two backing social and public entrepreneurs through impact investments and grant making. Yuj focusses on entrepreneurs causing teach enabled creative disruptions or enabling scale solutions to the pressing global problems of sustainability, education, and equity. Yuj has invested in over 36 companies and initiatives globally that have to date created 18,000 new jobs in 12 countries across 5 continents. Previously, starting in 2005 in New York, Mr. Yog spent a decade as Managing Partner and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Xander Funds, raising and investing over US$ 2 Billion of institutional capital. Each fund beat its benchmark index. Appointed to the Harvard University faculty in 2014, Professor Yog taught at Harvard Business School for 6 years until 2019, researching & publishing numerous cases, and teaching popular courses “Real Property”, “Real Estate in Frontier Markets”, and “Investing in Emerging Markets”. Mr. Yog is a Founder, Trustee, and Member of the Governing Body of Ashoka University, India’s leading liberal arts and sciences university and largest collective philanthropic effort. Since 2012 he is a member of Harvard University’s Global Advisory Council and Committee on University Resources. He is also a member of the American Repertory Theater Board of Trustees in Cambridge, MA since 2015, and a member of the Global Council at Lincoln Center in New York since 2018. Mr. Yog earned the degree of Master in Business Administration with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was elected a Baker Scholar, the school’s highest academic honor. He was also elected President of his Harvard Business School Class. Earlier, he secured a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree in Economics at Delhi University, where he was also elected Head of the Shri Ram College Students’ Union. When not traveling, he lives between the Bay Area in California, and Gloucestershire, England.

    David Faulkner

    President, ULI Asia Pacific

    David Faulkner, president of ULI Asia Pacific, is a Chartered Surveyor with over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry in the United Kingdom and Asia. The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. Its mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Established in 1936, the Institute has more than 45,000 members worldwide representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines. Before taking his current position, Faulkner was managing director of Colliers International, where he was responsible for valuation and advisory services in the Asia region. He joined Colliers International in 2003 after 15 years with Insignia Brooke and has been based in Asia for over 35 years. He has advised on a variety of major projects in Hong Kong SAR, China, and many markets in the Asia region. His expertise covers valuations, feasibility studies, development consultancy, and structuring investments in all the major real estate sectors. Faulkner is a ULI global governing trustee and is also a trustee of the International Property Measurement Standards Coalition (IPMSC), a past member of the International Valuation Professional Board of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Global Valuation Forum, and a practicing member of the Academy of Experts.

    Peter Ballon

    Global Head of Real Estate, CPP Investment Board

    Peter is responsible for CPP Investments' global real estate portfolio and is Chair of the Real Estate Investment Committee. Peter is a Board member of Aliansce Sonae Shopping Centers, a Brazilian public company, and is the Global Chairman of the Urban Land Institute. Peter has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining CPP in 2007, Peter worked with several leading real estate companies including Canderel, Brookfield and TrizecHahn. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, an MBA from the Ivey School of Business and has the ICD.D designation granted by the Institute of Corporate Directors.

    Ron Pressman

    Global CEO, Urban Land Institute

    January 2008 Ronald R. Pressman is president and chief executive officer of GE Real Estate, one of the world’s largest and most diversified commercial real estate finance and investment firms, with a presence in 28 countries and a portfolio with more than $59 billion in assets. A 27-year GE veteran, Mr. Pressman most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Asset Management, a global investment business with approximately $197 billion in assets under management. In this role he was responsible for the management of more than 200 institutional client accounts, GE's primary U.S. pension plan, the GE Savings and Security 401(k) plan and a variety of GE-affiliated insurance accounts. Mr. Pressman serves as a member of the Corporate Executive Council and is a director of GE Capital Services Inc. and GE Capital Corporation Boards. He was elected an officer of GE in 1993 and senior vice president in July 2000. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pressman has held a wide variety of roles on Wall Street to global business leadership roles in Europe and in the U.S. He was president and CEO of GE Insurance, and chairman, president and CEO of GE Insurance Solutions, one of the world's largest reinsurance and insurance organizations from 2000 to 2006. From 1997 to 2000 he was president and CEO of GE Capital Real Estate, and prior to that he was CEO of GE Energy Europe for three years, during which GE purchased its current Oil & Gas business unit in Italy. From 1992 to 1995 Mr. Pressman led several business units for GE Energy in the U.S., including the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine Generator and Hydro businesses. He also spent three years helping GE re-enter the Central and Eastern European markets, serving as general manager of these regions for GE International. He began his career with GE in 1980. Mr. Pressman has also been involved in many civic and educationally oriented activities in his communities. He is currently chairman of the National Board of a Better Chance and director of Pathways to College. Mr. Pressman is a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.

    Hari Krishna V

    Managing Director, Head of Real Estate India, CPPIB Asia Inc.

    Hari is responsible for CPP Investments’ Real Estate investments in India and is based out of our Mumbai office. The Real Estate group in India focuses on investments alongside top tier partners in key sectors such as office, retail and industrial. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Hari was at Kotak Investment Advisors which is the alternate assets arm of Kotak Bank. He was co- responsible for real estate funds business which had total assets under management of over USD 1Billion, contributed by SWFs and other global LPs. He started his career with CBRE and JLL in the corporate finance business. Hari holds a MFin from University of Delhi, India and is Member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, UK.

    Rohan Sikri

    Senior Partner, The Xander Group, Inc.

    Rohan Sikri is Senior Partner at The Xander Group Inc. In 2005 he co-founded the firm’s India investment program. Based in Singapore, he is also CEO and Executive Managing Director, Xander Investment Management, the PERE arm of the group, which currently has over US$ 2.4 billion in assets under management. Mr. Sikri chairs the investment committees for all Xander fund vehicles, and the credit committee for Xander Finance. A graduate in Commerce with Honors from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta, he secured an MBA with dual specialization in Finance and Marketing from the International Management Institute.

    Nicholas Brooke

    Chairman, Professional Property Services Group

    Nicholas Brooke who has lived in Hong Kong for the last 40 years is a Chartered Surveyor by profession and a Justice of the Peace (JP) and the Chairman of Professional Property Services Limited which is a specialist consultancy, based in Hong Kong, providing a selected range of advisory services across the Asia Pacific Region. He is a recognised authority on land administration and planning matters and is very much involved with a series of initiatives designed to improve the quality of life in Hong Kong and to enhance the built environment for the benefit of future generations. He has also participated in a number of major asset acquisitions and disposals, particularly in Asia and Europe and provided strategic advice to institutions and family offices looking to move into new markets. Mr. Brooke is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific, of which he is also a Lifetime Trustee. Mr. Brooke is also a keen advocate of the importance of innovation and technology here in Hong Kong and was closely involved with the establishment of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, joining the Board in May 2001 and leading the development of all three phases of Hong Kong Science Park until he stepped down as Chairman in June 2014. He also is the Principal Advisor to the APEC Policy Partnership on Science, Technology and Innovation (PPSTI) which provides guidance to APEC and its 21 member economies on the priorities and projects to be pursued in responding to the challenges faced in the current rapidly changing world. Mr. Brooke was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star (GBS) on 1 July 2018 in recognition of his distinguished public and community service.

    Yu-Ning Hwang

    Chief Executive Officer, Urban Redevelopment Authority

    Yu-Ning is the Chief Planner, a role in which she oversees the urban planning of Singapore. She is with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore’s land use planning and conservation authority. Yu-Ning has held various appointments in the public sector including with the URA, the Strategy Group of Singapore’s Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Ministry of National Development. She is a global governing trustee with the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She serves on the Singapore Science Centre Board, the Land Transport Authority and the IJ Board of Management. Yu-Ning studied architecture at the National University of Singapore and public policy & urban planning at Harvard University.
