    Andrea Carpenter

    Co-Founder and Director, Diversity Talks Real Estate

    Andrea Carpenter is Co-Founder and Director of Diversity Talks Real Estate, and a writer and communications consultant in the property industry. As a Director of Diversity Talks Real Estate, Andrea helps raise the visibility of under-represented groups in the industry through the stage and media. This includes training and other female-led initiatives through DTRE’s Women Talk Real Estate community. On the writing side, her book about the history of the modern European property industry, High Rise and Fall, was published by Routledge in September 2018. Andrea began her career as a journalist at Property Week before moving on to be editor of EuroProperty for seven years. Following this she worked for various industry bodies including the Urban Land Institute, INREV in Amsterdam, and its sister organisation ANREV in Hong Kong. On returning to the UK, she worked as Head of Marketing and Communications EMEA at CBRE Global Investors.

    Anna König Jerlmyr

    Mayor of Stockholm, 2018-2022 - CEO, Arwidsson Foundation

    Anna König Jerlmyr was the Mayor of Stockholm from 2018-2022. Before that she was in leading positions from 2010 in the city hall, including a term as vice Mayor in charge of social affairs. Her political career also included a term as a member of the Swedish parliament. Anna is an experienced prominent leader with both national and international networks. She has held prominent roles such as the Vice Chair of C40, the world's largest climate network for cities, and President of Eurocities, Europe's largest network of cities. She has also been part of the board for energy solutions and a member of the council of Future Cities at the World Economic Forum. Anna was recognized as one of the top five mayors in Europe in 2021. During Anna’s leadership Stockholm was awarded as the smartest city in the world 2019 and the worlds most sustainable city in the world 2022. Anna König Jerlmyr has a background in studies in Economic and law at the Uppsala University and is an alumna at the Bloomberg Harvard Leadership program. Today Anna is the CEO of the Arwidsson Foundation that focuses on quality of life in the built environment through research and collaboration between the public sector, academia and business.

    Nicolas Bearelle

    Executive Chairman, Revive World BV

    Nicolas Bearelle co-founded Revive in 2009, a real estate impact development company delivering resilient and lively neighborhoods by regenerating underused sites and redundant infrastructures. Revive transforms urban brownfield sites into high-quality neighborhoods, realizing economic, ecological and social added value. The team of 80 experts is working on a pipeline of over 2 billion EUR exit value in Benelux, Poland, Portugal and Spain. All projects are carbon free in use and masterplanned to maximize resilience. Revive has obtained a ‘Gold’ GIIRS rating and is a certified B-Corp for over a decade and nominated ‘Best for the World’ several times. Nicolas is also co-founder and investor in several technological related companies such as WATT Factory, an accelerator hub, and ReCap, an acceleration program. Nicolas is member of the Executive Committee of the ULI Belgian chapter, Co-Chair of the European Affordable Living Council and Global Governing Trustee.

    Cristina García-Peri

    Senior Partner and Head of Business Development and Strategy, Azora Investment Management

    Cristina is a Partner at Azora, where she heads Business Development and Strategy. Cristina focuses on defining the group’s corporate strategy regarding new vertical selection, international expansion, and client development, including fundraising for all of Azora’s funds and joint ventures. In her role, she is closely involved in the launch of funds and joint ventures with investors, as well as in corporate acquisitions and partnerships. She is a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Azora in 2011, she worked for 16 years in investment banking in London, first at Merrill Lynch (two years) and then at JP Morgan (14 years), where for more than ten years she was Managing Director responsible for corporate equity derivatives for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as for Equity Capital Markets for Spain and Portugal. Cristina started her professional career at McKinsey & Company in Spain. Cristina holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from ICADE and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Cristina is also an Independent Board Director at Bankinter, where she is Lead Director, Chairwoman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Risk Committee and the Nominations and Sustainability Committee. She is also an Honorary Trustee of Plan International, a humanitarian international NGO.

    Nathalie Charles

    CEO, IKKOU SAS

    Nathalie Charles is a senior advisor and independent director specialised in real estate with over 35 years of experience operating and managing French and international groups. She is currently a member of the board at GECINA, a listed REIT on the Euronext Paris exchange. Most recently, she was deputy CEO and global Head of Investment Management at BNP Paribas Real Estate (2019-23), overseeing a portfolio with €30Bn of AUM in Europe. Previously, she was Head of Development and European Country Teams at AXA IM Real Assets (2013-19). he graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique, was awarded the distinction “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” in 2011 ans is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute.

    Michel Van Geyte

    Chief Executive Officer, Nextensa

    Michel Van Geyte holds a master’s degree in applied economics and a postgraduate degree in real estate studies from KU Leuven and a master’s degree in corporate finance from Vlerick Business School. Michel Van Geyte has worked for Leasinvest (which later became Nextensa) since August 2004. First as commercial manager (COO) and since 2018 as CEO, following the retirement of the former CEO. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate. Since 2009, M. Van Geyte also teaches several courses related to real estate, at the KU Leuven. He has been chairman of the ULI Belgium & Luxembourg National Council since 1 July 2023.

    Simon Martin

    Partner, Chief Investment Strategist and Head of Research, Tristan Capital Partners

    Simon brings a 30 year track record of international real estate investment management to Tristan. Simon has worked with Founder and Executive Chairman/Chief Investment Officer Ric Lewis for over 20 years and helped found Curzon Global Partners in London in 1999. Simon set up the firm’s strategy function and led the research team as it grew globally (as part of AEW). He continues to focus on developing Tristan’s research-led investment approach. He works closely with the firm’s investment and asset management teams, and actively participates in the portfolio management process. He has served on the Investment Committee and has worked on every deal the firm has executed since inception. Simon also works closely on a day-to-day basis with the client development team to ensure that clients are kept fully apprised of developments in the market and the implications for strategy. Prior to joining Curzon Global Partners, he headed DTZ’s Fund Management and Investment Strategy Group and worked for CB Hillier Parker’s investment research team. Simon has also held a series of academic posts working as a Researcher at Cambridge University (Property Research Unit) and at Kingston University (Real Estate Faculty) in London. Simon was latterly the CBRE Professor of Real Estate Finance at the Henley Business School and still lectures occasionally at a number of universities, including at Cass Business School and Saïd Business School.

    Geopolitical Expert, Macroeconomist & Former Dutch Ambassador to China, Turkey, Ukraine, and Russia

    Ron Keller is a renowned speaker and strategic adviser with a unique blend of high-level diplomatic and financial expertise. As a former Dutch ambassador to China, Turkey, Ukraine, and Russia, and a seasoned macroeconomist, Ron brings unparalleled insights into global finance, economics, and geopolitics. His distinguished career includes leadership roles at the EU, IMF, OECD, World Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he was a founding member after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Ron is celebrated for his ability to connect complex global issues—ranging from diplomacy and economic policy to cultural dynamics and negotiation strategy—through engaging, interactive presentations. Drawing on personal experiences with world leaders and his role in shaping international financial systems, including the euro, he offers realistic and thought-provoking perspectives on the future of our interconnected world. Between 2000 and 2005, Ron served as Director General for Development Cooperation at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and earlier held senior roles at the Ministry of Finance. He also chaired key EU committees and led international negotiations, making him a sought-after moderator and masterclass leader on results-driven negotiation and effective meeting facilitation. Currently, Ron advises global businesses and institutions, lectures at universities, and contributes as a strategic analyst and commentator for media outlets including NPO, RTL, BNR, and the BBC. He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, graduating cum laude. Ron Keller’s deep expertise, dynamic style, and global perspective make him an invaluable contributor to conferences, corporate events, and academic forums.

    Lisette van Doorn

    Chief Executive Officer, Urban Land Institute - Europe

    As chief executive of ULI Europe, Lisette van Doorn is responsible for the development of the Institute’s activities across the region, including its renowned pan-European conferences and over 250 local meetings and events across 14 countries. She is responsible for working with ULI’s staff both locally and globally to deliver more high-profile content and reports; coordinating Advisory Services panels and Urban Plan; and expanding the Institute’s thought leadership across Europe. Van Doorn joined ULI in January 2015 from LIRE, her own consultancy business, which advises international institutional real estate investors and fund managers on strategy, organisational optimisation and portfolio structuring. Prior to this, van Doorn was country manager for CBRE Global Investors where she managed a €1.6bn portfolio of assets in Italy and fund manager of two shopping centre funds (€ 1.3 billion) with assets in Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Before joining CBRE Global Investors, van Doorn was founding chief executive for INREV, the European association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles for four and a half years. Van Doorn started her career at ING Investment Management, where she held account manager and assistant controller positions before being made managing director of research & strategy for ING Real Estate Investment Management Europe.

    Marcin Juszczyk

    Managing Partner, Capital Park sp. z o.o.

    Chairman of Urban Land Institute in Poland since October 2023. Managing Partner and Vice President of the Board of Capital Park Group with over 20 years of professional experience in the real estate sector and with over 10 years experience in running of the company listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE:CPG). Played strategic roles in Capital Park since its formation in 2003, starting as CFO and then as Head of Investment Department since 2006. Within Management Board responsible for areas of strategic business development, M&A, joint ventures and finance areas. Took part in over 100 transactions involving properties all across Poland, secured over €700m in bank financing and raised over €100m in bonds and shares issues on Polish capital market. Local partner to leading Private Equity Real Estate fund managers such as Patron Capital Partners and Madison International Realty on Polish market. Developer of Norblin Factory in Warsaw - the winner of ULI European and Global Awards for Excellence in 2022. Before joining Capital Park - CFO in Communication One Group / Call Center Poland SA – a leading Polish call/contact center outsourcing group. Until 2001 worked as management and information systems consultant and project leader. Member of the REIT Poland Association, the Polish Chamber of Commercial Real Estate (PINK) and the Foundation for Education and Research on REITs. Interested in large scale sustainable urban development projects, mixed-use, premium residential, conversions, brownfield regeneration and revitalization projects.

    Suzy Denys

    Country Director, BELUX, ATENOR SA

    After an initial career as a lawyer, Suzy transitioned to the real estate sector, where she held senior positions at REDEVCO and PATRIZIA SE, most recently serving as Country Manager. Additionally, she holds various board positions at Home Invest Belgium, UPSI-BVS, Wereldhave and CBFI, and is also a member of Women on Board Belgium. Holding a law degree from KU Leuven along with additional qualifications in real estate and business administration, Suzy combines legal, financial, and strategic expertise.
