    In this panel discussion moderated by Hiroyuki Takayama (Director, Head of Japan Desk, Cushman & Wakefield), we will take an in-depth look at Europe's real estate market.
    David Hutchings (Partner, Head of EMEA Investment Strategy, Cushman & Wakefield) will introduce to us both the UK and French real estate investment markets, and current trends specific to both countries. We also have Ralf Koschny (Chairman of Board of Directors, bulweingesa AG) sharing with us about Germany's investment market. Finally, we will have Gert Waltenbauer (CEO, KGAL) share with us about practical investment and asset management
    experiences between central/global cities and diversified investment markets, which will then be followed by a panel discussion.
    We will be taking Q&A at this webinar.

    Ralf Koschny

    Member of the Board, bulwiengesa AG

    Ralf-Peter Koschny is Chairman of the Board of Directors of bulwiengesa AG and responsible for retail and leisure. As part of his activities with bulwiengesa, he is engaged in numerous national and international associations and societies, such as the German Council of Shopping Centers, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Counselors of Real Estate. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). Ralf-Peter Koschny has been a senior manager of bulwiengesa since 1995. He previously worked as a town planner for FPB (Freie Planungsgruppe Berlin GmbH) and as a project manager for the City of Hamburg’s Department of Business Development.

    Gert Waltenbauer, born in 1964, has been Chief Executive Officer of KGAL GmbH & Co. KG since November 18, 2014. He is responsible for the areas of Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Audit, General Counsel and Compliance/Anti-Money Laundering. He is a member of the Presidium, German Property Federation (ZIA), as well as the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry®.

    Joined C&W (then DTZ) in August 2007. In charge of development and expanding business with Japanese companies throughout the region. Service covers from new market entrants, expansion, relocation and disposition. Covers all sectors from retail, commercial, and industrial. Prior to joining C&W, was a CEO of privately owned investment advisory firm and worked as advisor on M&A transactions. Prior to that, he owned his own healthcare management service for two years. Prior to this, he was a marketing manager and project manager in PwC Consulting (Current IBMBCS) for three years where he led process and corporate structure improvement projects. Some of his clients were local Electric Power Company, Sony, Panasonic, etc. Prior to PwC, he worked for Itochu Corporation where he was a lead brand management and production management for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Mossimo, Dickies, and Triumph.

    David is an international partner and head of the European Investment Strategy team based in the Cushman & Wakefield Cross Border Capital Markets group in London. His main area of responsibility is the production of strategic investment advice to help provide clients with a better understanding of the market in response to the changing world we operate in and to assist in identifying future growth areas in all sectors from commercial to residential and operational real estate. A key part of his role is the provision of actionable ideas for clients to follow as well as ongoing advice to support clients in developing and adapting their decision making over time, including with respect to potential sales or acquisition strategies.
