    Senior Advisor - Development and Innovation, Yarra Valley Water

    A strategic development leader passionate about shaping resilient, sustainable and inclusive communities. With experience spanning government utilities, private development companies, and large-scale urban projects, Victoria works at the intersection of property, infrastructure and policy to deliver outcomes that balance commercial imperatives with long-term community benefit. Currently at Yarra Valley Water, Victoria leads flagship innovation and development initiatives — from integrated water management pilots to alternative service provision models to benefit street trees. These projects are more than technical solutions: they’re scalable models for how the development sector and government utilities can address climate resilience, urban heat, biodiversity and affordability. Victoria’s career has taken me across the spectrum of urban development — from delivering affordable housing and university precincts to guiding greenfield masterplans and advising national policy. Alongside this, I hold industry leadership roles with the Urban Land Institute and the Urban Development Institute of Australia (Vic), where she contribute’s to shaping the national conversation on net zero, circular water and innovation in urban planning.

    Director | Digital Innovation Lead, ADP Consulting, an Ayesa company

    Derek merges design, engineering, technology and business thinking to optimise, automate and simplify complex problems. He is passionate about harnessing the best aspects of human and computational capabilities to achieve optimal results. Derek’s current work includes: • Optimising the international terminal of Australia’s busiest airport, arriving at a solution saving tens of millions of dollars in expansion costs • Automating and optimising design options for Victorian and New South Wales transport projects ranging from $40-250m • Automating masterplans for government facilities, often streamlining two-month processes to two days • Working with Australia’s top 3 universities, including supporting a university’s transition to sustainable building heating by automating and optimising their transition strategy.

    With 25 year’s experience, Travis has worked across both private sector and government. Travis has predominantly worked and operated within a growth area, greenfield context and has worked in consulting, land development, State Government and now currently in Local Government at the City of Melton.

    A RICS-accredited property finance and investment professional with experience across national real estate and wholesale capital markets. Trevor’s background and experience has focused on managing unlisted, private real estate funds and syndicates on behalf of family offices and high net worth investors seeking access to secure and structured real estate investments. Trevor has a breadth of direct and indirect real estate and funds management experience, with track record in capital preservation, capital repatriation, whilst achieving asymmetric return on risk through upfront transaction structuring, due diligence, and active investment management. Trevor has had end-to-end real estate investment management experience for over $200M in capital deployed, managed, and returned. Trevor is also a dedicated volunteer within the real estate and general business communities, including active involvement in the Urban Land Institute – a global network of real estate professionals. He has held leadership roles such as board director, secretary, and chair of special interest groups and subcommittees, showcasing his commitment to social responsibility and community service.
