Join us in a tour of Hong Kong’s world-class, sustainable sludge treatment facility designed to provide an innovative & eco-friendly sewage sludge disposal in Hong Kong. T-Park incinerates sludge produced at Hong Kong’s 11 sewage treatment works & reduces them to ash (about 2,000 tonnes of sludge every day), representing a volume reduction of 90% that otherwise would have ended up in landfills.
Opened in early 2015, the facility is one of the largest of its kind in the world, a BEAM Plus Provisional Platinum rated facility, and also includes a water bird sanctuary, beautiful gardens, a spa resort with three pools, an environmental education centre, a café, and many more that you can take a sneak-peek of during this trip!
Registration is required. Registration deadline is 31 October 2023 (Tuesday).
