In June 2024, the NSW Government released its 5-year housing completion targets for 43 councils across Greater Sydney and regional NSW, responding to the State Government’s commitment under the National Housing Accord to deliver 377,000 new well-located homes across the state by 2029.

Recent ABS data suggests housing completions in NSW lag well behind the 75,000 new dwellings required each year to meet the National Housing Accord commitment.

To keep pace, government and developers must embrace emerging technologies and generative design powered by AI and machine learning.  These innovations are transforming real estate decision-making by optimizing feasibility studies, stabilizing pro forma models and streamlining project approvals.

Join our expert panel featuring pioneering professionals from Bridge42, Differential, Place Intelligence and Hansen Partnership – leading experts in computational design, urban analytics, planning and development feasibility.

Discover how they assist developers by harnessing AI-driven tools to streamline infill development, extract real-time urban insights and respond to shifting economic and legislative conditions.

Gain valuable perspectives on how these innovators are leveraging technology to shape smarter, faster and more resilient development outcomes in NSW's dynamic regulatory landscape.
