    KR Kim, who took office in April 2013, has had various sales experiences and industry knowledge since joining Schneider Electric in 2000. He is also highly regarded as a person with rich international experience and outstanding global leadership within Schneider Electric. He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yonsei University. As a local leader who knows the situation in Korea better than anyone else, he is strengthening Schneider Electric's leadership in providing the best-integrated solution in the field of energy management.

    Scott Choi

    Managing Director, Actis

    Scott joined the Actis Asia Real Estate team in 2018 following the acquisition of Standard Chartered Bank’s Principal Finance Real Estate Group (PFRE). Scott has 19 years’ experience investing across property types and risk strategies, with particularly strong experience in managing development opportunities in Korea. Scott started his career as an analyst with KPMG FAS Korea and after spending three years there, he joined Mirae Asset Global Investments which is the largest AMC in Korea. There, he spent four years delivering successful outcomes as a senior investment manager of the real estate funds. Scott then joined PFRE in 2010 during which he made successful investments in and operated a wide range of real estate asset classes, including office, logistics, hotel and retail. Since he joined Actis, Scott and his team have been focusing on data centre development and have established a strong position as a leading DC investor in the Korean market. Scott has also been responsible for building out the Actis team in Korea and maintaining trusted relationships with Actis’ local LPs. Scott holds a BSc. Management from the University of London.

    Brad Greiwe

    Co-Founder, Fifth Wall

    Brad Greiwe is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Fifth Wall, a venture fund focused on technology for the Built World backed by the largest owners & operators of real estate, hospitality, and retail environments in the world. Prior to starting Fifth Wall, Brad co-founded Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH), the nation’s leading owner and operator of single-family rental properties originally backed by The Blackstone Group. As CTO, he positioned Invitation Homes as the dominant technology-forward brand in the single-family rental category, developing a proprietary technology stack to support the valuation, acquisition, rehabilitation, leasing, and professional management of over 80,000 homes in 17 major markets, serving 120,000 residents across the U.S. Brad started his career at UBS Investment Bank in the real estate, lodging & leisure group. He then worked in real estate private equity at Tishman Speyer and Starwood Capital. Brad is originally from Cincinnati, OH, lives in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from Harvard University where he received his BA in economics.

    Uikyong KIM

    CIO, IGIS Investment Partners

    KIM, Uikyong is the Chief Investment Officer in charge of the Private Equity and Venture Capital investments at IGIS Investment Partners. IGIS Investment Partners is a subsidiary of the IGIS Asset Management, which focuses on PE and VC investments. KIM, Uikyong has a total of 22 years of investment experience. In the early 2000s, he started his Venture Capital career at Muhan Technology Investment, one of the top tier venture capital firms in Korea. He then worked as a founder partner for an investment house, KPM investment, for 5 years. Since 2012, he had worked in PEF management at NH Investment & Securities PE headquarters, one of the top five securities companies in Korea, for 5 years and in 2018, he established and led the VC department at NH Investment & Securities until 2022. He managed the Private Equity Funds as a key fund manager with a total of AUM USD 169 million, invested in Growth Capital, Mezzanine, and Buy-out deals. He also managed the Venture Capital funds as the chief fund manager with a total of AUM USD 297 million and invested in various venture companies from Series A investments to Pre-IPO investments.   KIM, Uikyong graduated with a degree from the Department of Business Administration at Korea University, Seoul, Korea and a Master’s Degree in Finance at the Graduate School of Business at the Korea University.

    Kevin Son

    Executive Director, Aju Continuum

    Kevin is the head of the Venture Studio division at AJU Continuum. He is also involved in asset management and asset acquisition/liquidity. He has been actively engaged in various real estate-related tasks, such as new business development and investments, for a total of 22 years. Among those 22 years, he has been participating in startup investments for the past 7 years. Currently, he primarily invests in startups in the PropTech sector. He also works as a company builder aiming to increase the value of the invested startups and integrating their technology and services into AJU Continuum’s existing business. Additionally, he handles a comprehensive range of tasks including follow-on investments, fundraising support, improving operational inefficiencies, sales/marketing support, generating synergies between portfolio companies, supporting business expansion, providing IPO assistance, strategizing stock exit, and leading M&A. Before his role as a company builder, He has worked on numerous projects with a real estate-related background as the real estate sector is deeply connected with his expertise. Prior to joining AJU, Kevin dedicated 11 years to GS Retail as a site development expert from 2001 to 2012, taking responsibility for identifying premium sites crucial to the company's operations. This experience indirectly contributed to his involvement in a startup. One notable startup he has supported is Sparkplus, a Korean startup similar to WeWork, with a valuation of $200 million in 2021. Moving forward, he will undoubtedly contribute greatly to the future growth of the startup. Kevin holds a B.B.A from Sungkyunkwan University, And MBA from Korea University

    CEO, Yanolja

    Jongyoon Kim leads Yanolja Co., Ltd., one the world’s fastest growing global travel platform and travel technology companies. The Company operates through two main segments: the platform business for travel and leisure-related services and the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions business driven by Yanolja Cloud. By connecting the B2B2C value chain of travel with a one-stop network, Yanolja Co. Ltd. is leading the digital transformation of the global travel industry. Jongyoon Kim joined Yanolja Co., Ltd. in 2015 as Chief Strategy Officer and in 2021 was elevated to Chief Executive Officer of Yanolja Co., Ltd. Mr. Kim added to his responsibilities in 2021, becoming the Chief Executive Officer of Yanolja Cloud. Prior to Yanolja Co., Ltd., Mr. Kim held various leadership positions with global organizations including McKinsey & Company, Google, and 3M. He holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering (BEng) from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea, and completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, United States of America.

    Yvonne Voon

    Partner, Head of Asia, Fifth Wall

    Yvonne Voon is a Partner at Fifth Wall, based out of our Singapore office. She is in charge of spearheading the Firm's growth in APAC, including LP Coverage and Capital Markets, as well as looking out for future investment opportunities in APAC. Prior to joining Fifth Wall, Yvonne was heading up capital raising efforts at a leading APAC logistics platform, LOGOS Property. Yvonne also spent almost 15 years at Credit Suisse, where she was most recently the Head of Southeast Asia Real Estate within the Investment Banking and Capital Markets division. She also took on various roles in the Equities division in Singapore, London and Malaysia offices, including in Equity Research and Sales. Yvonne was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently lives in Singapore. She graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia with a degree in Commerce.

    Ju-Byung Lee

    Leader of Space Solution, Samwoo Architect & Engineers

    Ju Byung, Lee’s education as an architect has been combined with a parallel exploration of another discipline such as philosophy, painting, computing, and biology. Ju advocates for a more socially conscious architecture by using architectural ecology-finding. This way of working is aimed at sustainable symbiosis between human and environment through a complex interdisciplinary network. In 2010, after eight years of practice and research, Ju has joined SAMOO and carried out project that combined architectural design with sustainable and advanced design technologies, such as Thailand Magnolia Smart & Sustainable Housing, Qatar Lusail Palace, National Museum of World Writing, NAVER 1784(the second head quarter of NAVER), NAVER Green Factory(the first head quarter of NAVER) Renewal. As a result, NAVER 1784 received honours including the Grand Prize of the Korean Architecture Awards and IF Design Award Winners, Robot-friendly Bldg certification and LEED Platinum certification, Ju has established expertise in various fields, including smart & sustainable architecture design and advanced technologies. Ju is currently in charge of SAMOO’s Space Solution division and had conducted research on various advanced architectural technologies such as Data driven Building Management System, Personal Environment Management Solutions, Spatial Environment Sensing, Digital Twin and Tech convergence, as well as offering consultation on related subjects and developing related brand new products. Ju seeks to expand the business into new fields based on advanced architectural platform design technologies, presenting a vision for the near future architecture Ju holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Hong Ik University in Korea and was graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, with a Master of Architecture degree in 2010.

    Kate Kalinova

    Head of Corporate Engagement, SFO'C

    Kate brings expertise covering industry research, marketing and communication, stakeholder engagement, and event organization. As part of SFOC's Steel program, she focuses on corporate engagement with an emphasis on engaging key consumers of the steel industry to accelerate decarbonization of the sector. Before entering the climate space, Kate worked as a project Manager at the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) in Korea, engaging with key stakeholders (including media, public, and private sector representatives) within the Australia-Korea business community to grow the Chamber's membership & events portfolio by securing new collaborations and partnerships. Having spent over 6 years in Asia, Kate earned her Master's degree from China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing and her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of New South Wales. In addition to her work with SFOC, Kate serves as the Vice President at ANZA Korea, Director and Korea Correspondent for Asia Options, and is an Honorary Reporter for Korea.net. Her writing has been published in the East Asia Forum, Lowy Institute, and The Korea Times.

    ChaeHwan Im

    Executive Vice President, KT Estate

    Chaehwan is the head of the ICT Real Estate Division at KT ESTAE, a comprehensive real estate company of KT Group, where he leads the Digital transformation (DX) of the real estate sector based on AI and ICT. Since last year, he has been creating new value in the real estate industry based on the robot-friendly building certification system. He is also partnering with various proptech companies and directly investing in excellent proptech startups. Prior to taking his current position, he was the head of KT's AI/DX Platform Business Division, where he led AI/DX-based platform business in various industries. He has more than 25 years of business experience in various ICT fields in B2C and B2B at KT Group, including KT and KTF (merged with KT in 2009), and also has overseas business experience.  Since 2018, he has been in charge of various AI services based on AI speakers and AI TV set-top boxes and has created new B2B business models such as AI apartments, AI hotels, and AI robots. Chaehwan holds an MBA from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. He is also a board member of Trustay, a smart residential property management platform company, established as a joint venture between kt estate and Yanolja which is a global travel tech company." He also serves as a board member of the Korea PropTech Forum.

    Eugene Kim

    Partner, SparkLabs

    Eugene is currently the Managing Partner of Sparklabs and manages the day –to-day operations of the Sparklabs accelerator program in Korea. Eugene previously served as a Director of Global Business Development at Tencent Korea. He was responsible for the sourcing of Korean game titles to China and Tencent’s global publishing network, headed the global sales of Tencent game titles, and he managed relationships with Tencent’s global publishing partners. Prior to Tencent, Eugene was Director of Business Development and Marketing at Podotree, an online educational app developer in Korea. He was responsible for their marketing and launch effort into the U.S. Previously, he was with Vertigo Games as the Group Manager of the Overseas Business Group. Eugene led all overseas sales efforts and service support, and all business development and game engine licensing activities. Eugene was a Manager and Group Head of the Quality Assurance and Localization Group for NHN USA. He previously served as Project Manager of the Publishing Group at NHN USA and Assistant Manager of Global Strategy & Marketing Development at NHN Corporation. He began his career at The Contents Company, an SK company, in business development and played a key role in launching Korea’s first pilot IP TV service with overseas partners. He earned his BA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Michigan.

    Junho Pok

    CEO, IGIS X Asset Management

    Jun Ho Pok is a Co-CEO of IGIS Neovalue Asset Management, which is a joint venture with IGIS Asset Management and Neovalue, the real estate developer. Jun Ho is also a senior managing partner of IGIS Asset Management. He joined IGIS as a director of real estate development in 2014 and became a senior managing partner in 2020. In IGIS, he invested almost 10 Billion USD real estate development projects. Prior to joining IGIS Group, he worked at KORAMCO, the first REIT AMC in South Korea for 10 years. In KORAMCO, he also focused on real estate development projects and invested 3 Billion USD. Throughout his career, he focused and invested mainly in commercial real estate development. Jun Ho became a chairman of ULI South Korea in 2018 and also a member of ULI AP Executive Committee and ULI Global Governing Trusttees. Jun Ho earned his BSC and Master's degree in Seoul National University. His major was Landscape Architecture.

    Stephen Macdonald

    Managing Partner, The Proptech Connection

    Stephen has extensive global investment expertise and has held a number of leadership roles with major VC funds, in both APAC and Europe, specializing in Proptech and Cleantech. This experience is complemented by a deep understanding of real estate, having held C-Suite roles within real estate fund management and senior transaction roles. Stephen understands the challenges faced by new technologies having led the tech strategy team at an ASX-50 REIT. He is also formerly of PwC where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

    Founder and CEO, PAKT Limited

    Barbara Yu Larsson is the Founder and CEO of PAKT, the circular wardrobe service that integrates fashion storage, digital solutions and expert services, revolutionising clothing ownership. Barbara started her career with Morgan Stanley and then held senior leadership positions at Lehman Brothers, County NatWest and Eban International. She regularly speaks on panel discussions in the property tech, fashion and entrepreneurial space, is involved with several women's groups internationally and actively mentors women in business. She was born in Taipei, raised in New York, attended Harvard University and received her Masters in History of Art from Birkbeck, University of London,. Fluent in several languages including Mandarin, French, Italian and Swedish, she also holds a 4th Dan black belt in Karate.

    Managing Director and Country Head - South Korea, Hines-AP

    Mr. Lee serves as Managing Director and Country Head and is responsible for acquisitions and development in South Korea. He brings 12 years of experience in private investment management to Hines. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, he worked for DWS as Head of Transactions, leading the acquisition and development of ten properties in Korea with a value of over $1.7 billion since 2013. He also worked for Rutter Private Equity, Seoul-based private equity management firm, managing over USD 800 million corporate buy-out and special situations investments. Lee earned a BBA in Business Administration and BA in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University. He is CFA Charterholder.

    Eric Schaffer is a leader in real estate technology and innovation in Asia Pacific. He has led the essensys business across the region for several years, based in Singapore. He works across real estate functions and asset classes, which informs his approach to using technology to improve the business model of commercial real estate. Eric has previously held regional leadership positions at multiple firms, including WeWork, Cushman & Wakefield, and Core Capital Asia. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and BA from Emory University.

    Su Lin Wee

    Executive Director, Head of Asset Management (SEA), PGIM Real Estate

    Su Lin Wee is an Executive Director and Head of Asset Management for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and China, in PGIM Real Estate​ Su Lin has more than 20 years of real estate experience, focusing primarily on the asset management and development of retail assets and mixed-use projects. She started her career in Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority where she was responsible for planning the award-winning Bras Basah District in central Singapore. ​ This was followed by development and asset management experience with real estate developers Lend Lease and CapitaLand, where she managed and also carried out asset enhancement projects for their retail assets across Singapore.​ She was the project director responsible for the greenfield development and subsequent management of CapitaLand’s billion-dollar Westgate Mall and office mixed-use project. ​ Su Lin was also the head of CapitaLand’s Corporate Development and Group Planning Division, which drove innovation culture across the group, with the objective of evolving the business model and adopting new technologies disrupting real estate.​ Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, she was part of the global consultancy firm Surbana Jurong, where she led the joint opportunities team to source key master planning and infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia, India and Australia.​ Su Lin holds a master’s degree in architecture from the National University of Singapore.​

    Benji Shin

    CEO, Zenerate

    Mr. Shin is the CEO and co-founder of Zenerate, focusing on applying AI for real estate development to maximize profitability. Benji started his career as an architect in LA after graduating Harvard with a master’s degree. He focused on mixed-use and high-rise residential projects. Although Zenerate was incorporated at the beginning of COVID-19, the team successfully raised seed money to grow the business and $5M has been raised so far. Benji’s end goal is to provide the most profitable and optimized solution for development projects. By facilitating decision making processes, he aims to solve housing shortage problem and make work easier and faster for everyone involved in this business.

    Phil Kim

    Chairman | Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Jerde Partnership

    Phil Kim is a Chair, Board Member, Shareholder and Managing Director Asia Pacific at the Jerde Partnership, Inc. in Los Angeles and Asia, focusing on Jerde’s constantly evolving places that has impacted and rejuvenated Asia cities, with the firm recognized with 160 international design awards. He advises companies and cities on innovation in integrated development, retail, urban revitalization, vertical cities and the value creation of place. Langham Place Hong Kong, Roppongi Hills Tokyo and Quay Quarters Sydney are past and present notable projects representative of a people-based design that draws over one billion visitors to Jerde projects around the world annually in twenty countries. He is a ULI Trustee, Chair of the Hong Kong National Council, Co-Chair of the UrbanPlan education initiative for Hong Kong and Asia, and an Asia Pacific Executive Council member. He is also a Founding Member of the Institute for Sustainable Urbanisation focusing on urban regeneration of emerging cities.

    Eli Konvitz

    Expert in sustainable urban development, University of Hong Kong

    Eli is an expert in sustainable urban development. His experience around the globe includes plans and initiatives for new and revitalised places, large-scale urbanisation and regional strategies, climate change strategy and policy, masterplanning for transit oriented development, reclamation and waterfront development, industry, tourism and leisure projects, and pioneering creation of a mechanism in the UK for low-carbon retrofit of existing buildings. He is currently an independent consultant on urban innovation and development, adjunct associate professor at the University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Advisory Board of AMRACE (Advanced Manufacturing Robotics Accelerator Centre of Excellence) in Malaysia. Between 2013 and 2022 Eli was Director of Atkins' Planning and Urban Design practice in Hong Kong and South East Asia and Net Zero leader for Asia; Regional Practice Lead for Consulting, Strategy and Advisory; and chair of Atkins' Urban Planning Global Network. Prior to joining Atkins, Eli was at Arup in London and co-founder of startup localCarbon. Eli is chair of the programming and events committee and a member of the executive committee at ULI Hong Kong, sits on the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design’s public affairs and international and mainland affairs committees, and was previously chair of the International Infrastructure Forum's net zero working group at the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Eli is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.

    Alexander Bent

    Co-founder and Managing Partner, Undivided Ventures

    Alex started his career at John Swire & Sons working in the United States, China & Hong Kong. Since 2004 he has been an entrepreneur in many different areas of the real estate investment space, co-founding a serviced apartment business, Kush Serviced Apartments, a boutique neighbourhood retail brand called Warehouses on West and a real estate investment and asset management business, District15. District15 co invested with large real estate institutions and funds and was responsible for repositioning, asset managing and exiting these real estate assets and portfolios. Alex also has a long history of mentoring and investing in start ups and technology companies in the proptech and real estate space. He recently co-founded Undivided Ventures which is focused on investing in companies looking to solve for the many sustainability challenges in the built environment. Alex has sat on a number of committees including the Li Po Chun United World College fund raising sub-committee, the ULI Technology Committee, the Proptech HK POC Committee, the Negawatt Sustainability Committee and the Spacious Advisory Committee.

    Deputy Managing Director | Korea, Colliers

    As Managing Director of Colliers International, Rob is responsible for the strategic direction of the Korea business, to lead the growth and diversification initiatives and develop leadership talent. He oversees all service lines as well as shared services including investment sales, office leasing, project management, valuation and advisory, research, marketing and communications, human resources and finance. Rob is also a member of the Colliers International Asia Leadership team. An experienced real estate professional with a focus on corporate real estate transaction management (commercial and industrial) as well as strategy consulting across the Asia Pacific Region. Rob aims to cultivate long-term client relationships and to become an expert in his clients’ real estate needs and their internal processes. Based in Seoul, but having lived in Asia for over 20 years, Rob has a strong understanding of cultural norms as well as individual market practices across the region

    Steve Seongtae Nam

    CEO and Founder, ZipFund

    As CEO of ZipFund, Steve spearheads a cutting-edge real estate technology company that leverages AI-driven online services to meet the diverse needs of customers and businesses. Under his leadership, his team has developed an innovative individual unit level residential database in Korea that automates financial analysis for customers, while also offering data solutions in mortgage finance and digital marketing to business clients. Before founding ZipFund, Steve gained extensive experience managing investment and development for a Manhattan-based developer in New York City, as well as working in investment consultancy for Cushman & Wakefield in Korea. He holds a master's degree in real estate from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Additionally, he holds certificates in US CCIM and LEED GA, and has served as an adjunct professor of proptech at Konkuk University in Korea.
