Harriet Tregoning is Director of NUMO, the New Urban Mobility alliance, a collaborative effort aimed at harnessing tech-based disruptions in urban transportation to make cities more sustainable, livable and just. Harriet is a former ULI Trustee; advises cities, states, foundations, corporations and NGOs; and previously served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Community Planning and Development at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Obama Administration. At HUD, she initiated $1-billion National Disaster Resilience Competition and supported communities in building strong foundations for economic and disaster resilience. As Director of the D.C. Office of Planning, Harriet helped to make the nation’s capital walkable, bikeable, equitable and globally competitive. Harriet also was Secretary of Planning in Maryland and a Loeb Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is a leadership advisor to the Rails to Trails Conservancy and is on the boards of ioby, a community leadership development program and crowdfunding platform for neighborhood-scale projects, and the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy.

Leslie Woo CRE® is a respected leader with over 25 years of experience building sustainable communities and shaping urban development in Canada’s fastest-growing urban region, greater Toronto. Leslie assumed the role of CEO at CivicAction in September 2020. CivicAction is a premier civic engagement organization that convenes established and rising leaders from all sectors, backgrounds and experiences, CivicAction catalyzes actions and impactful solutions to address pressing challenges in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area and beyond. Before joining CivicAction, Leslie was at Metrolinx for over a decade including her time as Metrolinx’s Chief Planning and Development Officer. Leslie is a tri-sector athlete with experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors as well as her experience as a planner, architect and community activator. An accomplished leader, Leslie was named Bisnow’s 2019 Toronto Power Women in Commercial Real Estate, one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017 by WXN, Spacing Toronto’s Transit Changemaker in 2016 and Canada’s Women’s Infrastructure Network’s 2015 Outstanding Leader. Founder of shebuildscities.org, Leslie uses her voice and platform to amplify and celebrate other women city builders.

Yvonne Yeung OALA CSLA MBA PMP LEED ND AP. Yvonne Yeung is an urban designer and landscape architect with over 20 years of experience advancing cross-functional collaboration and delivery of transit-oriented communities. Appointed as Vice-chair of the Urban Land Institute SDRC Product Council, board member of ULI Toronto and the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative Champions, Yvonne founded the "Getting to Transit-Oriented Communities Initiative", leading the strategic engagement across the region and North America, promoting progressive city-building practices and collaborations between public and private sectors. Her participatory-design work has been profiled at the Design Exchange and is now further evolved to precinct planning as an interdisciplinary tool to shape the suburban car-oriented edge-cites to cities of Transit-Oriented Communities. Yvonne is the award recipient of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management, a founding board member of the OALA Ground Editorial and past member of the City of Toronto Public Art Commission, the Canadian Standards Association Design Standards Committee and the Green Building Certification Institute LEED Review Committee. Her projects have won awards from the Waterfront Centre in Washington, the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, the Ontario Professional Planner Institute and the City of Toronto Urban Design. Yvonne currently serves as the Manager of Urban Design with the City of Brampton leading the cross-commission development of design frameworks with a focus on unlocking the value of Transit-Oriented Communities through City By-Design: city-led participatory design excellence.

Jeff Kingsbury is managing principal of Greenstreet Ltd., an Indianapolis-based strategic planning and real estate practice, and a principal of Ancora Partners, a Durham-based real estate development firm. Jeff’s experience includes over thirty years in the planning and development of urban, suburban, and rural communities throughout the United States, encompassing over 35,000 acres. He has been a principal in the development and disposition of over $630 million in real estate, and consulted on public private partnerships, transit-oriented development, and anchor institution strategies for private sector clients as well as cities, counties, and non-profits in sixteen states and two foreign countries. Jeff has been a senior advisor to Cherokee, the leading private equity firm investing capital and expertise in brownfield redevelopment, with more than $2 billion under management. With the Urban Land Institute, Jeff was the founding Chairman of the Redevelopment and Reuse Council and served as Chairman of the Sustainable Development Council, a juror on the Institute’s Global Awards for Excellence Jury, and an advisor for the Committee on Climate Change, Land Use, and Energy. He is a co-author of the book Developing Sustainable Planned Communities (ULI, 2007), and a peer reviewer of the text Professional Real Estate Development, 3rd Edition (ULI, 2012)
