Join experts from Bank of America, Cambridge Savings Bank, TA Realty, and PwC on November 12th for an in-person discussion of the highly anticipated Emerging Trends in Real Estate® 2025—ULI's flagship publication—which will be hot off the press after being launched at the Fall Meeting. It spotlights overarching trends that will play out in 2025 and affect the real estate industry over time. Shifts in markets across the United States and structural changes in property types are integral to the conversation. Come hear a summary presentation of the report and a lively, fast-paced discussion among industry leaders of the trends and related issues.

The event will kick off with a presentation by Chuck DiRocco of PwC, summarizing the key findings from the report, followed by an engaging capital markets roundup.

Over the past three years, tightening capital markets have presented significant challenges for real estate values and development projects. Rising interest rates have driven down property values and delayed many projects across the sector. Could the Fed’s recent decision to lower interest rates signal a new era of opportunity for the industry?

The capital markets panel will delve into where major capital providers (both debt and equity) see opportunities in the near term, which asset classes are gaining traction, what return thresholds are necessary to launch projects, and the obstacles that are keeping some firms on the sidelines.

The panel will feature industry leaders including:
    • Rob Griffin of Newmark, Moderator
    • Ian Brandon of Cambridge Savings Bank
    • Cristina McElhinney of TA Realty
    • John Wolff from Bank of America

Don’t miss this chance to hear directly from experts whose firms collectively manage over $1.7 trillion in assets.
