This annual ULI Cincinnati event is designed to provide members of the community with the opportunity to share and learn from Legends in Real Estate. There are real estate professionals in the region who have spent their entire careers working passionately to create the built environment that we all experience every day. Former recognized Legends include Neil Bortz, Don Neyer, Bill Butler and Mike Schueler.  Their experiences, challenges, and successes need to be shared with those assuming the responsibility to carry on their life-long work.

This year's highly anticipated event is your opportunity to engage with John Barrett, a distinguished leader at Western & Southern and Cincinnatian with a vision for growth and success. As Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern), John Barrett serves on a wide range of boards and is highly active in the business and non-profit communities.

A very active leader in the rejuvenation of downtown Cincinnati, John Barrett launched the United Way Women's Leadership Council to increase giving among top female contributors. He also founded The Herbert R. Brown Society in Cincinnati to encourage greater African American engagement with the local United Way. Dozens of Cincinnati area organizations and community causes benefit from John Barrett's civic leadership. Currently, he is spearheading a $105 million fundraising campaign to help the University of Cincinnati's Barrett Cancer Center and other members of the Cincinnati Cancer Consortium pursue National Cancer Institute designation.

Those attending will gain valuable insights while learning from John Barrett's extensive experience, participate in a moderated and interactive discussion, and connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for thought-leaders in the Greater Cincinnati region. This event is designed for anyone interested in the evolution of our built environment and those who aspire to continue the legacy of excellence in real estate development.
