    Hong Kong: A Golden Past – An Exciting Future

    Hong Kong has recently been through the most turbulent period it has faced in recent memory. We all wonder what the future holds for the city, for real estate and our built environment.

    The 2021 ULI Hong Kong Conference was held at the Murray Hotel, on Thursday September 9th, where we explored the potential for Hong Kong’s future.

    Our keynote speaker, Mr. Ronnie Chan, delivered opening remarks on the future of Hong Kong in the context of the Greater Bay Area, and over the course of the conference we had explored a wide range of timely topics including innovation, the surprising resilience of hospitality, liveability, creating value in our highly mixed-use environment, and the significance of ESG.

    This was a great opportunity for members to hear from a range of leaders in our industry and to meet again in person, after a long hiatus.
