    Jane Kelly is a qualified planner who understands that the best planning outcomes are reached when diverse minds come together. That’s why at Urbis she’s helped champion an open and inclusive culture as a member of the diversity board – one that gives her clients access to the brightest minds in planning. Jane’s areas of expertise cover retail planning, highest and best-use planning, amending planning schemes and setting the strategy for major projects. And with many years’ experience in Australia and the UK, she’s able to provide strategic insights and practical advice to her clients – including universities, businesses and government departments. Her career highlights include leading the planning process for a number of city-shaping projects: the Melbourne Theatre Company and Recital Centre, Wave Park at Melbourne Airport and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

    Rajiv Mahendran is an experienced economist with a strong interest in economic policy. At Urbis, his focus is on the residential market, bringing a data driven, evidence-based approach to addressing Australia’s housing crisis; working closely with government and the private sector to unlock value and find solutions to key challenges in delivering housing. Rajiv’s experience covers a broad range of projects from strategic policy/portfolio advice to due diligence and market research, focusing on translating complex data analysis into meaningful insights for clients through a deep understanding of the property market. Recent projects include Melbourne’s Social Housing Renewal Program, Arden Renewal Precinct, and a range of Build-to-Rent developments.
