    ULI Philadelphia will open the webinar with a discussion on the findings and recommendations from their latest Technical Assistance Panel on preserving Philadelphia's NOAH stock. Then, we will hear strategies from the private-sector (from Amazon's Housing Equity Fund) and public-sector (from NYC's Housing Development Corporation) for this important work.

    Eric Enderlin

    President, New York City Housing Development Corporation

    Eric Enderlin has served as President of the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) since October 2016. As President of HDC, Mr. Enderlin is tasked with leading the nation’s largest municipal Housing Finance Agency towards furthering the Administration’s goals under the Housing New York plan, as well as leading HDC’s efforts to help finance the rehabilitation of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) through the PACT program. Mr. Enderlin brings more than 20 years of experience in public policy and affordable housing to HDC. He most recently served as Deputy Commissioner for Development and Special Advisor at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). Prior to joining HPD, Mr. Enderlin was Assistant Director for Asset Management and Private Market Operations at NYCHA; worked as a consultant with the Louis Berger Group in its Economics Department; and served as Principal Planner and land use mediator with the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing (NJ COAH). Mr. Enderlin holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Master of Science in urban planning and policy, both from Rutgers University.

    Daniel Din

    Amazon Housing Equity Fund

    As the Senior Product Manager for the Amazon Housing Equity Fund, Dan leads Amazon’s efforts in housing affordability and finance. He is responsible for developing a full portfolio of impact investments, taking each investment from concept through completion. Prior to Amazon, Dan was vice president of multifamily underwriting and credit at Freddie Mac. He oversaw the underwriting and credit of Freddie Mac’s businesses in Affordable Housing, Seniors Housing, Structured Transactions and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) equity investments. Over his career, he has been involved in more $100 billion in real estate transactions. Dan has a background in innovation and new product development and has been involved in many of the new products and processes at Freddie Mac Multifamily. Dan received an MBA in real estate from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in information systems technology from George Washington University and a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Virginia.

    Laura Slutsky

    Executive Director, ULI Philadelphia

    Laura Slutsky is Executive Director of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Philadelphia District Council where she is responsible for all operations, programs, policy, external strategy and management of the 900-member organization. ULI is global non-profit organization fueled by over 45,000 members in land use, real estate development and planning with the mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Laura’s background prior to ULI is in affordable housing, community and economic development finance and policy. She returned to her native Philadelphia from the New York City Department of Housing Preservation (HPD) and Development, where she developed and oversaw a portfolio of preservation finance programs, transactions and policy initiatives. Laura has significant federal and local experience managing housing and community development projects, large scale programs and policy issues including serving in Mayor Bloomberg's Office of Housing Recovery Operations as Deputy Director for Policy and Strategic Partnerships and as an Obama Presidential Appointee at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She has political experience leading field teams on presidential campaigns and serving on Capitol Hill. Laura holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the Fels Institute of Government at Penn, and a bachelor's degree from Cornell.
