    Senator Jacob Anderegg is a Utah State Sentor representing District 13 in Salt Lake and Utah counties. Senator Anderegg serves on a number of Legislative committees including the Senate Transportation, Public Utilities, Energy and Technology Committee, Transportation Interim Committee and the International Relations and Trade Committee. Professionally, Jacob serves as the Vice President of Community Development at Zions Bank. Before joining Zions Bank in 2017, Senator Anderegg was the Western Regional Director for Triad Airflow by NxGen, LLC, a Sales Director for WindChill Engineering and a Senetorial Liaison for Senator Mike Lee. Senator Anderegg earned a Bachelor of Science in Economic from Brigham Young University and his M.B.A. from Westminster College.

    Barr Engineering

    Jeff has more than 25 years of experience with environmental engineering, stormwater management, groundwater and GIS modeling, and software and model development. He is a certified groundwater professional and serves on the National Ground Water Association’s per - and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) advisory group. Jeff has developed and used numerous groundwater models for the mining industry, including projects involving environmental assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, water management, groundwater and surface - water contamination, dewatering, and water treatment at coal, aggregate, mineral, and hard - rock mines. He also has extensive experience with the oil and gas industry, including assisting with water supply, hydrauli c fracturing, groundwater protection, and oil - release projects. He has extensive knowledge of groundwater flow - and - transport principles and has led numerous workshops and classes in the U.S. and around the world.

    Randy Woodbury

    President, Woodbury Corporation

    O. Randall Woodbury became President of Woodbury Corporation in May 2011. Previously, he has directed the company’s property management department since 1981, during which time the management portfolio grew to exceed ten million square feet in thirteen Western and Midwestern states. He holds active Utah real estate and insurance licenses. In 1987, he earned the Certified Property Manager® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, for which he has served in many local and national leadership positions. In 2010, Mr. Woodbury was honored to represent IREM as its international president. He is a graduate of the University of Utah having earned a B.A. in Business Finance with emphasis on Real Estate.

    Aabir Malik

    VP of Development, Colmena Group

    Aabir Malik joined Colmena Group over ten years ago after establishing his real estate career working on student housing in Austin, Texas. Since coming to Colmena, Aabir has overseen over $500 million in real estate development projects in senior housing, student housing, multifamily apartments, hospitality, and retail. Aabir’s specialty is community-oriented experiential development projects, focusing on partnerships with community stakeholders to improve the built environment. Aabir was instrumental in the vision, design, and oversight of a multi-phase redevelopment in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City through which he spearheaded active stakeholder and community engagement for a diverse, mixed-use development. Aabir is highly involved in many Salt Lake area organizations, including NAIOP, ULI, and is one of the founders of the Mellow 40, an annual philanthropic biking event hosted by the Salt Lake real estate community to benefit local charities. He is an active member of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah and currently serves as the Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Board for EDCUtah.

    Nathan Bracken

    Partner, Smith Hartvigsen PLLC

    Nathan joined Smith Hartvigsen as of counsel in 2015. Previously, he served as the assistant director and general counsel for the Western States Water Council, where he represented state engineers and water quality administrators from Utah and seventeen other western states. He has experienc e in water rights, water quality, energy, public policy, and government relations. A trained mediator and facilitator, Nathan has led multi - stakeholder initiatives that have influenced federal legislation and policies involving the Clean Water Act, groundw ater, and tribal and federal reserved water rights. Nathan began his legal career as an attorney and mediator with Dart, Adamson & Donovan in Salt Lake City.

    Jami is currently a Vice President at JLL and has 15+ years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, assisting local and national office clients with lease transactions, portfolio listings, acquisitions and dispositions. Jami has completed hundreds of transactions and since 2010 has closed transactions in excess of $100M. Jami holds a Bachelor of Science in Consumer and Community Studies with a Minor in Economics from the University of Utah. Jami is an active member of CREW Utah, the local chapter of CREW Network. She has served in numerous leadership capacities while a member of CREW Utah, including her most recent position as 2016 President. Jami also serves on the Board of Directors for The Bradley Center, a local non-profit grief center that assists children and families dealing with the loss of a loved one.     Keith's strong leadership skills come from 30 years of experience as an inventor, entrepreneur and investor. Overseeing operations for PIVOT Center, Keith’s passion for innovation has helped countless ideas get the momentum they need to succeed. He has three patents, launched four companies, and helped entrepreneurs raise more than $500 million in investment capital. An avid skier, hiker and traveler, he has visited almost all 50 states, and more than forty countries.

    Brennen Brown is a public finance banker in D.A. Davidson’s Special District Group. He joined the firm in early 2020 to lead the firm’s public finance banking efforts in Utah. Previously, he spent over 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) where he was a senior research analyst for a fixed income team that managed over $120 billion of AUM in tax-free investments. Brennen has extensive experience analyzing, structuring, and investing in special district debt across the country where he led investments of over $2 billion. Prior to GSAM, he was a financial institutions analyst for Goldman Sachs & Co. Brennen graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

    General Manager, Desert Color St. George, LLC

    In October of 2018, Mitch Dansie became the general manager of Desert Color--a 3,400 acre master planned community located on SITLA land east of I-15 and Southern Parkway. Mitch was born and raised in Herriman Utah and he and his wife, Amy, have been raising their four children in South Jordan Utah. They are excited to relocate to beautiful St. George and get involved with the community in as many ways as possible. He is eager to be a part of Desert Color and to help in creating a sustainable anchor development in Southern Utah. An accomplished and proven finance and operations executive with over 15 years of international experience in project management and oversight, Mitch has an extensive background in risk management, process improvement and change management. Most recently, Mitch has enjoyed leading and developing 400 acres of family farm property in Herriman Utah. Mitch has a BA in Finance from the University of Utah and was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Co. Mitch enjoys immersing himself into his families passions whether it’s competitive baseball, golf or dance. He is an avid golfer and enjoys wakeboarding and hiking with his family in the big playground we call Utah.

    As Regional Senior Vice President, Nancy is responsible for the profitability of its Southern California operations, including the oversight of its existing portfolio of properties and the growth of its asset base through new development and investment opportunities in the market. She also is involved in identifying new land positions and prospects for build-to-suit development. A 14-year commercial real estate veteran, Nancy joined Duke Realty after serving as Senior Vice President of Capital Deployment for Dermody Property's Southwest Region. Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Nancy was Vice President of Capital Deployment at Prologis and AMB Property Corporation. During her tenure with these companies, she completed more than $1 billion of building and land transactions.     Todd Stonely

    Assistant Director of Planning, Utah Division of Water Resources

    Todd has worked for the Utah Division of Water Resources since 1998, first as an engineer in the River Basin Planning Section, then as its manager from 2002 - 2016. He is currently the manager of the Project Funding Section. Todd was the primary author of several major publications by the division, including the latest Utah State Water Plan, Utah’s M&I Water Conservation Plan (2003), and Weber River Basin Plan (2009). Todd also oversaw the production of five detailed planning studies on w ater reuse, conjunctive management of surface and ground water, drought, reservoir sedimentation, and leak detection. Since 2013, Todd has been working with experts in the field of water loss control to find ways to help train and assist water providers in this important area of need. Todd was born and raised in Utah. He grew up in the Millcreek area of the Salt Lake Valley, attending Skyline High School and later Brigham Young University where he obtained a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineeri ng in 1995. While at BYU, Todd met and married his sweetheart, Daisy. They live in Orem and are the proud parents of four children.

    Chanel Flores

    Deputy Director, UAMMI

    Ms. Flores joined Utah Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Initiative (UAMMI) in January 2021 as the deputy director for the organization. She leads UAMMI’s implementation of the Utah Defense Manufacturing Community (UDMC) program serving as key personnel for the project. She assists manufactures and advanced materials companies across the State of Utah in identifying risks and threats in the supply chain and serves in the identification of alternate suppliers through matchmaking of capabilities. Ms. Flores brings to UAMMI expertise gained from her accomplishments at the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity (GOUTAH) such as: playing an instrumental role in adding Advanced Manufacturing as Utah’s 7th strategic industry cluster, leading efforts to officially designate Utah as a Defense Manufacturing Community by the Department of Defense, assisting in the framework for the future of advanced air mobility, furthering opportunities for space applications, and analyzing and promoting aviation-enabled economic development potential across the 46 airports in Utah. Prior to her time at GOED, Flores served as the employer and continuing education manager for Davis Technical College where she was responsible for Custom Fit training, employer private training and continuing education. In addition, she has served in various roles with BBSI and Management and Training Corporation. Flores has more than a decade of experience in technical education. Ms. Flores currently serves on the advisory board for the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) Utah Chapter and was awarded the SAMPE 2020 Young Professional Emerging Leadership Award. She also serves on the advisory board for Women Tech Council and Weber State University’s Communications Department. She received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication, with an emphasis in training and development from Weber State University and a Master of Strategic Communication from Westminster College.

    Technical Sales Engineer, In-Position Technologies

    Ammon Black is a Technical Sales Engineer working with In-Position Technologies. He graduated from USU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and loves playing with robots, solving challenging automation problems and a good dad joke. After working in the excavation industry he is happy to be in the automation space. As well as being an engineer, he is also a professional auctioneer.

    Soren Halladay

    Director, PEG Companies

    Long before PEG partners ever hear about an investment opportunity, Soren Halladay and his team have dissected it down to the detail. Using rigorous evaluation techniques, the Chief Investment Officer is known for his exceptional ability to minimize risk while formulating creative investment strategies. As the lead on all deal underwritings and Head of the Investment Committee, Soren leverages the firm’s experience and relationships to formulate and author PEG’s current investment strategies around suburban-urban infill development and acquisitions. Soren’s well-rounded professional background allows him to approach real estate deals from a mature perspective. Before joining PEG, Soren worked in Los Angeles, mastering the data analysis process, underwriting building and land acquisitions, and performing accounting analyses. While serving as an auditor at Deloitte, Soren monitored the accuracy of real estate companies’ financial reporting and also earned his CPA. Soren speaks from experience when he says that the key to developing a leading investment strategy is understanding ever-evolving market dynamics and immediately adapting to those. “Real estate is a living, breathing organism. You have economic factors, you have fluctuating interest rates, and you have equity raises,” Soren says. “Staying on top of those trends for every single asset class PEG has is crucial.” Soren received his Master of Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles and his Bachelor of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.

    Jill Flygare

    Chief Operating Officer, Utah Inland Port Authority

    Jill Flygare serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Utah Inland Port Authority, overseeing office and financial operations, contract development and negotiations, and the development of data sets and reporting. Additionally, Flygare works to establish policy and procedures and serves as UIPA’s legislative liaison. Prior to joining UIPA in 2019, she worked as managing director of internal operations in the Governor’s Office of Economic Development for three years. In this role, she oversaw the compliance and finance teams and worked to reorganize systems for optimization. Additionally, Flygare worked on the Inland Port Feasibility Study, assisted in data collection and reporting on the Economic Development Strategic Plan, and staffed both the Inland Port Authority and Point of the Mountain boards. Flygare also has experience as the finance director in the state’s Department of Heritage and Arts, where she oversaw the annual budgeting and planning process. Additionally, she worked as a policy and budget analyst for four years in the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, currently known as the Office of Management and Budget. She contributed to projects such as Governor’s budget recommendations, balancing the state’s budget, and budget summaries of appropriations from each legislative session. A member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), Flygare also served as president of the organization in 2017 and has her CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager). She also currently serves on the Multicultural Commission and Columbus Community Center boards. Flygare’s background also includes a focus on education, both as a teacher and a life-long student. She taught four classes at the University of Utah and earned three degrees from the institution: a bachelor’s in secondary education and two master’s in education and public administration. She also has a Master Certification of Accounting from the University of Phoenix.

    Alan D. Rindlisbacher is Director of Community Strategy for EDCUtah. Previously, he served for 22 years as the Director of Corporate Communications for Layton Construction Company. He is a longtime community development advocate, with experience at the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, EDCUtah (in the early days), and the Utah Division of Business and Economic Development. He is active in the community, having served on many boards and committees, including Visit Salt Lake, NAIOP, ULI, Utah Alliance for Economic Development, Downtown Rising, and others, and as Chaplain with the Unified Police Department.

    Mr. King is an architect, planner and parametric/computational designer with two decades of experience in designing cities. He draws from a background of architecture, spatial analysis, algorithmic design and optimization, active transportation and sustainable land use. The ability to use complex datasets to make informed decisions across IBI’s sectors is central to his work in designing cities and architecture. His parametric planning and design process allows increasingly complex large - scale projec ts to be done more efficiently while exploring exponentially more iterations of design solutions. He taught architectural studios at Woodbury University for a decade researching computational solutions to architectural and urban problems. Before joining IB I Group, King worked in the Shared Mobility Department for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, primarily focused on the expansion of the City’s bikeshare program.

    Melissa Freigang is the Founding Director of the Weber County Prosperity Center of Excellence. She was the former Vice President of Social Innovation and Workforce Initiatives for the Business Development subsidiary of Logistic Specialties, Inc. (LSI), where she leads specialized social impact, intergenerational poverty strategy and workforce development programs by aligning industry, education and economic development initiatives. These programs provide customized workforce deve lopment, strategic planning and innovative intervention design, to ensure success and long - term sustainability for industry groups, Utah employers and educational partners, employing measured outcomes along with business development services to accelerate job creation.

    Global Futurist, Speaker, Author,

    Jack Uldrich is a well-recognized global futurist, speaker, and the author of thirteen books, including a number of award-winning best sellers. He is a frequent speaker on technology, change management and leadership and has addressed hundreds of corporations, associations and not-for-profit organizations on five continents. He regularly makes television appearances on PBS’s Frontline, the Science Channel, and the Discovery Channel, and is a frequent guest on major media outlets, including CNN, CNBC, Fox and National Public Radio. Jack is also an ongoing contributor on emerging technologies and future trends for a number of publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Wired Magazine and Inc. Jack is a former naval intelligence officer and Defense Department official. He served as the director of the Minnesota Office of Strategic and Long-Range Planning under Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura. His most recent book is Business as Unusual: A Futurist’s Unorthodox, Unconventional, and Uncomfortable Guide to Doing Business and his forthcoming book is The Rise of Generation RE.

    Kristian Peterson

    Managing Partner, Catalyst Opportunity Funds

    Kristian is a seasoned real estate veteran in equity and debt investments across all commercial real estate asset types with experience in construction, repositioning, renovations, restructuring, syndications, financing, and securitization. Prior to joining Catalyst Opportunity Funds, Kristian spent nine years at Fortress Investment Group as a Senior Vice President working in both the private equity and credit funds. He was responsible for leading a team in several equity and debt investment initiatives, including securitization of over $1 billion in middle-market commercial real estate mortgages. During his time with Fortress, he was responsible for the management of over $3.5 billion in total assets. Kristian has over twenty years of real estate investment management, acquisition, and advisory experience. Before joining Fortress, Kristian worked as the Director of Consulting for a sustainability advisory firm, providing original best practice research reports and decision support to portfolio managers at top global real estate companies. He has also worked as a top advisor within a private equity syndication firm, underwriting over $2.0 billion commercial real estate acquisition, assembling a due diligence team and developing the process to evaluate acquisition and development opportunities. Kristian holds a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He co-authored a case study on real estate investing with Harvard Business School and authored industry reports on creating more sustainable commercial real estate, which was the focus of his graduate school thesis.

    Peter Linneman

    Founding Princpal, Linneman Associates

    For over 40 years, Dr. Peter Linneman's unique blend of scholarly rigor and practical business insight has won him accolades from around the world, including PREA's prestigious Graaskamp Award for Real Estate Research, Wharton's Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center's Lifetime Achievement Award, Realty Stock Magazine's Special Achievement Award, being named "One of the 25 Most Influential People in Real Estate" by Realtor Magazine and inclusion in The New York Observer's "100 Most Powerful People in New York Real Estate". After receiving both his Masters and Doctorate in Economics under the tutelage of Nobel Prize winners Milton Friedman, Gary Becker, George Stigler, Ted Schultz and Jim Heckman, Peter had a distinguished academic career at both The University of Chicago and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. For 35 years, he was a leading member of Wharton's faculty, serving as the Albert Sussman Professor of Real Estate, Finance and Public Policy as well as the Founding Chairman of the Real Estate Department and Director of the prestigious Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center. During this time, he was co-editor of The Wharton Real Estate Review. In addition, he published over 100 scholarly articles, four editions of the acclaimed book Real Estate Finance and Investments: Risks and Opportunities, and the widely read Linneman Letter quarterly report. Peter's long and ongoing business career is highlighted by his roles as Founding Principal of Linneman Associates, LLC, a leading real estate advisory firm; CEO of American Land Fund; and CEO of KL Realty. For more than 35 years, he has advised leading corporations and served on over 20 public and private boards, including serving as Chairman of Rockefeller Center Properties, where he led the successful restructuring and sale of Rockefeller Center in the mid-1990s. Although retired from Wharton's faculty, Dr. Linneman continues his commitment to education through his SAM Elimu educational charity for orphans and children of extreme poverty in rural Kenya. He has been married for over 40 years and is an exercise enthusiast.

    Chris Parker has an abiding passion for helping places renew equitably.     Marc Stanworth

    Chief Executive Officer, Dakota Pacific Real Estate

    Marc Stanworth is responsible for overseeing all investment activities and managing the day-to-day operations of Dakota Pacific Real Estate Partners. This role entails guiding the firm’s overall portfolio strategy, asset management, and acquisition/development functions and serving as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Dakota Pacific, Marc was a Principal at HP Investors, a San Diego-based real estate investment firm, where he led the acquisition and joint venture development of commercial and multifamily properties totaling approximately $500 million throughout select Western US markets. Before his time at HP Investors, Marc held senior leadership roles with Texas and California-based private investment and development firms Hillwood and Capstone Advisors. He began his career as a private equity analyst with Swiss-based Partners Group. Marc’s 20-year career spans real estate investment, development and management responsibilities totaling nearly $2 billion in asset value. Marc graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Accountancy and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School.

    Don Walker

    Executive Vice President, Zonda

    An expert in home-building financials, land development, and commercial construction, Don leads portfolio and valuation assignments, and acts as the final reviewer on most of our consulting reports. Before joining John Burns Real Estate Consulting in 2008, Don worked as General Manager responsible for the operations of all five divisions within the Corky McMillin Companies – a 2,000-unit per-year home builder. During his 12 years there, Don honed his skills in strategic planning, acquisitions, and financial forecasting. Prior to that, Don worked in consulting at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he learned the art and science of evaluating real estate projects and markets. Don holds a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from San Diego State University, was a founding member of San Diego State’s Real Estate Advisory Board, and works in our San Diego office. Don stays active in his free time, enjoying mountain biking, surfing, and fly fishing. He also competes in sprint and long-distance triathlons, completing two Ironman races.

    Dina Blaes

    Director of Office of Regional Development, Salt Lake County Regional Development

    Dina Blaes is the Director of Regional Development at Salt Lake County, responsible for leading the County's efforts in Planning, Transportation, Housing, Community Development, Sustainability and Economic Development. She came to Regional Development after serving as Associate Deputy Mayor of Finance and Administration under Salt Lake County’s CFO. Prior to joining the County, Dina spent more than a decade as a consultant providing comprehensive urban planning and historic real property-related services to clients in the Inter-mountain West. She studied Architecture and Environmental Design at Parsons School of Design and holds a BA from Columbia University in Art & Architectural History. She also received a master’s degree in City & Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah. She is the Chair of the Utah Board of State History, serves on the Great Salt Lake Advisory Council and represents the SLCo Mayor on the Jordan River Commission and the Wasatch Front Regional Growth Commission. Dina was born and raised in Salt Lake City and currently lives in Millcreek City.

    Kelvyn Cullimore

    President & CEO, BioUtah

    Kelvyn H. Cullimore Jr. was named President and CEO of BioUtah, the state trade association for life science companies in Utah, in October 2018. In that capacity, he also serves on the board of the World Trade Center Utah and on the advisory board of the Center for Medical Innovation at the University of Utah. From 1992 to 2018 Mr. Cullimore was the President & CEO of Dynatronics Corporation, a leading manufacturer of physical therapy devices and products with an international reach. Dynatronics is a publicly traded, Cottonwood Heights, Utah based company originally founded by Mr. Cullimore and his father in 1979. He served on the Board of Directors for Dynatronics until December 2019. From 2003 to 2016, Mr. Cullimore served on the board of directors of the Medical Device Manufacturers Association headquartered in Washington, D.C. He is a past Trustee of the Utah Technology Council an industry association which, at the time, included life science and high-tech companies. In addition to his professional career, Mr. Cullimore was elected the first Mayor of Cottonwood Heights in November, 2004 and served in that capacity until January 2018. As Mayor, Mr. Cullimore was a member of the board of the largest fire agency in Utah, the Unified Fire Authority, serving as the chairman of its finance committee. He also served on numerous other County and State committees and was the chair of the Mayor’s committee that formed the Canyons School District, the first new school district in Utah in 100 years. Mayor Cullimore was a recipient of the Best of State Award in 2008 as the Best Elected Official. Mr. Cullimore has served in many positions for the Boy Scouts of America, including Scoutmaster, and in 2002 received the District Award of Merit for his service. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1980 with a degree in Financial and Estate Planning. Kelvyn and his wife, Laurie Lyn Cullimore, are the parents of five children and have fifteen grandchildren.

    Alex Lowe

    Principal, Lowe Property Group

    Alex brings a significant amount of real estate experience to Lowe Property Group (LPG) and oversees all of LPG’s investments, including the management of investments in multifamily properties and other strategic assets throughout the United States. Prior to joining LPG, Alex was the President and Chief Investment Officer of JRK Investors. JRK is a real estate private equity group focused on the acquisition and management of multifamily properties across the United States. JRK manages over 25,000 apartment units across the nation in 26 different states. Alex was responsible for all aspects of JRK’s $1.2 billion+ private equity funds, overseeing all personnel in the company’s investment division, and was a member of the firm’s investment committee. While at JRK, Alex sourced and executed $3 billion in commercial property acquisitions and also sold nearly 8,000 units with a combined value of $600 million. Prior to JRK, Alex worked at The Westfield Group, one of the largest real estate investment trusts in the world. While at Westfield, he worked as a developer and was instrumental in a $250MM redevelopment of a Los Angeles regional mall that included Best Buy and Target as anchor tenants. Alex began his real estate career at BlackRock Inc., one of the world’s largest publicly traded investment management firms. During his time at BlackRock, he performed underwriting and coordinated due diligence on retail, office, industrial, and multi-family projects. Alex has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in finance from the University of Utah where he served as the Student Body President.

    Ty McCutcheon

    Ty received his BA in Economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles and has more than 25 years experience in planned community development. He’s held a variety of sales, marketing and operations roles with major land developers in both Utah and Southern California. He is also heavily involved in the larger community, serving as a Vice Chair and Executive Committee Member of Envision Utah and Treasurer of the Utah Property Rights Coalition. He is a past president of Salt Lake Habitat for Humanity and the Utah Homebuilders Association. And Ty was named one of Utah’s rising business leaders, “Forty Under 40”, by Utah Business Magazine in 2010 ... when he was still under 40

    GEORGE ARNOLD

    Partner, Hamilton Partners

    George Arnold is a partner at Hamilton Partners. He joined the industrial division in 1991 after receiving a Master of Management Degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to Kellogg, Mr. Arnold spent five years as a commercial loan officer at Cambridge Trust Company in Cambridge, Massachusetts and four years as a semi-pro hockey player in Sun Valley, Idaho. Mr. Arnold spent twenty-four years in Chicago working in the Industrial Division as a leasing agent and development partner. George is currently the co-managing partner for Hamilton Partners Salt Lake City and Phoenix Offices. Arnold oversees the Salt Lake City and Phoenix team’s Office, Industrial and Multi-Family development activities. Since moving to Utah in 2015, George has been involved in the development, lease up and disposition of the East Village multi-family project, the Sandy Towers East office building and the acquisition of the 324 State Street office building. The Salt Lake City team is also developing a 921,600 SF industrial project – I-215 Commerce Center, one mile from the Salt Lake City International Freight terminal with prime freeway exposure and the Lake Park Commerce Center in West Valley, Utah. Lake Park Commerce Center is a 779,000 SF, four building industrial project, which began construction in the spring of 2019.

    Matt Baldwin

    Global Head of Real Estate Development, Property Reserve, Inc.

    Matt Baldwin is Director of Real Estate Development for City Creek Reserve, Inc. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Suburban Land Reserve, Inc. (SLR). He was raised and spent most of his life in Portland, Oregon, where he met his wife, Val, and was founder and CEO of an construction company for more than 20 years that focused on tech manufacturers and suppliers and industrial flex buildings. He sold the construction company in 2002 and returned to school. He and Val came to Salt Lake City in 2007. Matt is the author of Snow Rising, published by Deseret Book. He is currently working on his second book. Matt and Val have been married for forty-one years, have two married children, and five grandchildren.

    Sonia Huntley

    Senior Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Urban Land Institute

    Sonia Huntley is an association industry veteran with nearly 30 years membership engagement, marketing, fundraising and customer service experience. Most recently she served as the Urban Land Institute’s Vice President for Global Customer Service where she was responsible for the deployment of global support across ULI’s three regions. In this role she led a high performing team who consistently exceeds service level targets including a 90% CSAT responsible for nearly 70,000 customer interactions annually. In 2020, she began co-leading ULI’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiative where she managed the efforts of the DEI staff taskforce of 70+ ULI team members. She also currently serves on the partnership working group for the DEI Council. Previously, Sonia worked for the Division of University Relations at the University of Maryland where she was Director of Membership and Marketing for the Alumni Association. At the University of Maryland, she developed strategies leading to increased retention rates, 45% growth in membership, and executed the launch of the associations’ lifetime member recognition wall. During her tenure at the University, she also worked for the Annual Fund where she served at the Director of Emerging Constituent Philanthropy responsible for DEI focused philanthropic engagement. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

    Peter Pillman

    US Director Mixed Use- Hospitality and Residential, Arcadis

    Peter Pillman holds degrees in both Environmental Studies and Architecture, which is the foundation to his more than 20 years of widespread experience in master planning and urban design projects. This breadth of knowledge and experience is a key factor in his level of comfort working in the multi - disciplined environment of land use planning and transit planning, producing master plans based on the key principles of Transit Oriented Development. Peter provides leadership and administration as part of the US West region, focusing on Utah, Texas, and Colorado. In addition to this role, he is also the US Lead for Living+.

    Jeff Grasso

    Managing Partner, Vesta Realty Partners

    Jeff is the Managing Partner of Vesta Realty Partners where he is responsible for the overall strategy, investment activity and management of the firm. Prior to founding Vesta in 2020, Jeff was a Senior Vice President, Head of Acquisitions and Investment Committee member for Silverstein Properties, an owner/developer headquartered in New York City with holdings exceeding 20 million square feet globally. In this role, he completed over $10 billion of real estate acquisitions, development, and loan originations throughout the United States, Europe, and China. Jeff was actively involved in all areas of the firm’s investment, capital markets and new development activities. Prior to joining Silverstein in 2010, Jeff was an Analyst in the Portfolio Management Group of ING Clarion Capital – a $5 billion AUM real estate credit fund. Jeff holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University. He is a member of ULI’s Global Exchange Council, the Pension Real Estate Association, and a Board Member of the James D. Kuhn Real Estate Center at Syracuse University.

    Alan Matheson

    Executive Director, The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority

    Alan Matheson is the executive director of The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority. He is charged with preparing for and overseeing the development of nearly 600 acres of state land called The Point. Matheson previously served the State of Utah as executive Director of the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, Senior Environmental Policy Advisor to Governor Gary R. Herbert, and State Planning Coordinator. Before joining state employment, Matheson worked in the private sector focusing on regional planning and law, serving as Executive Director of Envision Utah, founding Director of the Utah Water Project, shareholder in a Phoenix law firm, Senior Attorney and Environmental Policy Advisor for Arizona’s largest electric utility, and law clerk for a federal Court of Appeals judge. Matheson holds an A.B. in International Relations from Stanford University and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he was an editor of the UCLA Law Review. He has served on dozens of community and state boards and has consulted with several regions around the country on strategies to address the challenges of growth.

    Michael Parker

    Vice President of Strategy, Ivory Homes

    Michael P. Parker earned both his bachelor's in political science and master's degree in public policy with an emphasis in regional economic policy from the University of Utah. Parker currently serves as the Director of Public Policy for the Salt Lake Chamber. He leads major legislative initiatives on behalf of Utah's business community, including the recent passage of the Utah's most comprehensive transportation funding legislation during the 2015 Legislative Session. Parker has a strong background in a variety of government and public policy organizations ranging from local to federal policy issues. Prior to joining the Chamber, he worked with the University of Utah Center for Public Policy & Administration, Utah Foundation, Salt Lake City Economic Dev elopment, and the Bockorny Group, a boutique lobby firm, in Washington, D.C. Parker serves on numerous boards including The Economic Club of Club, the Utah Broadband Outreach Center Advisory Board and the Governor's Energy Advisory Committee.
