As part of ULI Hong Kong's event series on housing with support from the ULI Asia Pacific Centre for Housing, we are honoured to have Winnie Ho, JP, Secretary for Housing, to share a keynote speech followed by a panel discussion by esteemed panelists representing different perspectives on the future of rental housing in Hong Kong. We will consider issues from multiple stakeholder angles, including private and public sectors, social enterprises, and operators focused on different demographics.
The panel talk will cover the existing state of Hong Kong's rental housing market, emerging models, ideas from outside Hong Kong, and social considerations in housing provisions. It will also be a prelude to ULI Hong Kong's upcoming Technical Assistance Panel where a team of experts will be mapping out mechanisms for the private housing market to provide permanent, low cost housing.
Housing is one of the most urgent hot button issues for Hong Kong today as acknowledged by the new Chief Executive's Policy Address, so we welcome you to join this exciting dialogue, to hear firsthand some of the possible changes ahead.
