    Drew Torbin

    CEO, Black Bear Energy

    Drew founded Black Bear to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and clean technology by the institutional real estate community. He is responsible for customer engagement and project development. Prior to starting Black Bear, Drew founded and led the renewable energy group at Prologis, the world’s largest industrial real estate investment trust (REIT). During his tenure the group deployed over 120 megawatts of distributed solar projects across North America, Europe and Asia. Before Prologis, Drew held positions at Litchfield Capital Management, LLC, a U.S. equity long/short hedge fund, and at Wells Fargo. Drew received his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, his B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, is a graduate of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Energy Executive Leadership Program and serves on the Colorado New Energy Improvement District board.

    Lindy Schrik

    Director of ESG, CenterPoint Properties

    Lindy Schrik leads Centerpoint’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategic initiatives and sustainability efforts. From 2018 to 2021, she oversaw CenterPoint's five million-square-foot Seattle portfolio as a property manager. Lindy has worked for JLL, Colliers, Transwestern, and KPMG. In 2004, she received her Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker License, and in 2010, she earned her LEED AP certification. Lindy has served as a BOMA International Industrial Committee member and on the BOMA/Suburban Chicago board. Lindy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

    Keely Felton

    Vice President, Nova Group GBC

    Ms. Felton oversees all Freddie and Fannie green loan reports and other deliverables completed by Nova Energy Group. In this capacity, she reviews High-Performance Building reports and Green Assessment reports for these programs while working closely with Nova’s clients to make sure that all pertinent information is communicated throughout the process. Keely is a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional. She is highly experienced with utility data analysis, including Portfolio Manager and benchmarking.

    Billy Grayson

    Chief Initiatives Officer, Urban Land Institute

    Billy Grayson is the Executive Vice President for Centers and Initiatives and the Executive Director for the Center for Sustainability and Economic Performance at the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit education and research organization that focuses on land use, real estate and urban development. As Executive Director for the Center for Sustainability, Mr. Grayson manages a team leading programs on climate risk and resilience, health and wellness, and building energy and environmental performance. ULI works with members, community leaders, coalition partners, and other key stakeholders to build awareness around sustainability issues in the built environment, and to provide our members with the tools and resources they need to cost-effectively drive sustainability into their projects and operations. As EVP for Centers and Initiatives, Mr. Grayson also oversees ULI’s programs on Housing, Infrastructure, Health and Social Equity, and Real Estate Economics and Capital Markets. Mr. Grayson has over a decade of experience leading energy and sustainability initiatives in real estate, distribution, and supply chain operations. As Sustainability Director at Liberty Property Trust, Mr. Grayson led a 400+ industrial and office properties initiative that included green building construction, energy efficiency retrofits, and sustainability-focused property management strategies and tenant engagement. As Vice President, Social and Environmental Sustainability for the Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), Mr. Grayson led a global compliance program working with the electronics supply chain to identify and mitigate environmental and human rights risks in their shared supply chain, as well as programs addressing climate change mitigation. As Sustainability Director at WESCO, Mr. Grayson developed an operational sustainability program for an industrial building portfolio that reduced energy, water, and waste, and launched a global marketing initiative for WESCO’s sustainability-focused energy technology products and services. Mr. Grayson holds an MBA and a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelors in Environment, Economics, and Politics (EEP) from Claremont McKenna. He is a LEED AP and former Board member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council and NAREIT Sustainability Advisory Committee.

    Sara Neff

    Head of Sustainability, LendLease Americas

    Sara Neff is the Head of ESG, Lendlease Americas, where she provides leadership and management oversight in developing, implementing and driving Lendlease's corporate sustainability framework in the Americas region. Prior to that role, she served as Senior Vice President, Sustainability at Kilroy Realty Corporation. Under her leadership, Kilroy has been recognized as a leader among publicly traded real estate companies on sustainability in the Americas by GRESB for seven of the last eight years as well as being recognized by NAREIT, and achieved carbon neutral operations at the end of 2020. She holds a BS from Stanford and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

    David Braun

    Vice President, Partnerships and Renewable Project Organization, Transparent Energy

    David’s primary role is leading the development of and origination for renewable energy products for Transparent and particularly the development of PPA and VPPA products targeted at the commercial, industrial, and institutional segments, and expanding into on-site systems as well. I also lead efforts to develop additional partnerships and channel partners for the company. The energy industry is at an inflection point. Energy users are moving to cleaner, more resilient forms of energy supply and Transparent Energy is providing the expertise to enable the change in a process-driven way to lower costs.

    Michelle German

    Vice President, Portfolio Operations & Sustainability, LBA Realty

    Michelle is an experienced Director of Sustainability and Operations with a demonstrated history of working in the commercial real estate industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Property Management, Sustainability, Communications, Management, and Leadership. She has a B.A. focused on Communication Studies from California State University-Northridge.
