    Jacques Gordon

    Global Strategist, LaSalle Investment Management

    Jacques Gordon is the retired Global Head of Research and Strategy for LaSalle and remains a senior advisor to the firm. In his former role, he was responsible for the macro strategy and micro research used to guide all investment decisions in 30 countries. He served on the Management and Investment Committees of LaSalle and directs the investment strategy group, which analyzes capital markets, regional economies and property markets. Jacques received the “Graaskamp Award” from the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) for his contributions to real estate research and education. He originated the Jones Lang LaSalle Transparency Index in 1999, which has become the world standard for understanding international real estate. Jacques received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He also teaches “International Real Estate” at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. Jacques serves on the Boards of the JLL Income Property Trust, The Homer Hoyt Institute, The Institute for Urban Research at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Metropolitan Planning Council (Chicago, non-profit). He is active in NAREIT, PREA, the Urban Land Institute, and he is an honorary fellow of the Real Estate Research Institute.


    David Faulkner

    President, ULI Asia Pacific

    David Faulkner, president of ULI Asia Pacific, is a Chartered Surveyor with over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry in the United Kingdom and Asia. The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. Its mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Established in 1936, the Institute has more than 45,000 members worldwide representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines. Before taking his current position, Faulkner was managing director of Colliers International, where he was responsible for valuation and advisory services in the Asia region. He joined Colliers International in 2003 after 15 years with Insignia Brooke and has been based in Asia for over 35 years. He has advised on a variety of major projects in Hong Kong SAR, China, and many markets in the Asia region. His expertise covers valuations, feasibility studies, development consultancy, and structuring investments in all the major real estate sectors. Faulkner is a ULI global governing trustee and is also a trustee of the International Property Measurement Standards Coalition (IPMSC), a past member of the International Valuation Professional Board of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Global Valuation Forum, and a practicing member of the Academy of Experts.


    Claire van Schaik

    Head of Capital Raising and Investor Relations, Investment Management, Lendlease

    Claire joined Lendlease in 2014 and has extensive experience in the property industry, having worked in commercial and legal roles for more than 23 years. In her current role, Claire heads the Capital Raising and Investor Relations teams and is responsible for enhancing relationships with existing institutional investors and their consultants. Claire also leads the capital raising activities for new products and the existing investment vehicles managed by the Investment Management Australia business. Before being appointed to the Head of Investor Relations role in July 2021, Claire held a range of roles within Lendlease. Most recently she was National Transactions Manager in the Development business where she led new business and capital transactions across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, including Melbourne Quarter Tower and Sydney Place. Prior to this, Claire held various roles in Lendlease’s Legal team, including Deputy Head of Property Projects, and originally established herself as a real estate and private equity transactions lawyer in top-tier legal firms both in Australia and the US.


    Andrea Clarke

    FutureFitCo Learning

    Andrea encourages people to be 'future fit' through writing, speaking & delivering digital learning programs that build leadership capability across top ASX listed businesses. A former television news reporter and Washington D.C. correspondent, Andrea covered major news events for Al Jazeera English, the Pentagon Channel and Thomson Reuters before working on humanitarian aid programs to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan. Andrea then led the communication campaign for the Save Darfur advocacy movement to stop the genocide in Sudan. With an obsession for growing careers, Andrea founded FutureFit Learning in 2012 and stepped into EdTech in 2015. She is the author of the book: 'Future Fit: How to Stay Relevant and Competitive in the Future of Work' - a finalist in the Australian Career Book Award 2019, winner of the Australian Business Book of the Year 2019 and finalist in the UK Business Book Awards 2020. Andrea is also a member of the Australian HR Institute's Future of Work Advisory Panel.
