    Hossein Rezai-Jorabi

    Global Design Director, Ramboll Singapore Pte. Ltd.

    Hossein is an engineer, a design visionary, and an educator. As Founding Director of Ramboll-Web Structures and one of the initiators of the concept of “fusion engineering,” Hossein is the first and only engineer to receive the coveted title of “Designer of the Year” from the president of Singapore.

    Pritha Hariram

    Head of Department, Water Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation, Ramboll Singapore Pte. Ltd.

    Pritha Hariram is the Head of the Water Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation department at Ramboll Singapore. Prior to joining Ramboll, Pritha led the development and financing of bankable water projects for the Dutch Development Financial Institution, FMO across Asia, Africa and Latin America. Other positions held by Pritha, was the global lead for the Water Supply and Sanitation Services program at the International Water Association (IWA) and Urban Development Specialist with the Asian Development Bank where her primary role was to lead the identification, development, implementation and administration of large loans and grants for urban water and sanitation programs in South Asia. ​ Pritha is an experienced environmental engineer with over 20 years of experience in the management of drinking water and wastewater systems to safeguard public health and build resilience to climate change. Over half of her career has been dedicated in accelerating finance across the value chain to ensure access to resilient water and sanitation for all. ​

    Benjamin Towell

    Executive Director, Sustainability Office, Global Wholesale Banking, OCBC

    Benjamin is a Registered Architect (Singapore), a Chartered Surveyor, and a Chartered Environmentalist. He is the Executive Director for the Global Wholesale Banking Sustainability Office and subject matter expert at OCBC, leading the bank’s global net zero ambition for the Built Environment sector. Benjamin develops innovative financial solutions, thought leadership and technical sustainability advisory services for OCBC and its customers. He is Singapore’s representative for the World Green Building Council’s Sustainable Finance Taskforce and ESG working group, providing deep technical diligence and comment to key initiatives intersecting the worlds of finance, climate action and the built environment. He chairs the Singapore Green Building Council sustainable finance working group. In addition, he is part of the CRREM Global Scientific and Investor Committee, involved in challenging, and shaping credible 1.5C aligned pathways for the built environment. Prior to joining OCBC he played a leading role in the development of Singapore’s environmental policy landscape, most notably the development of BCA Green Mark scheme. Benjamin is the author of the Singapore Institute of Architects Green Book, which frames the Architectural professions direct response to the deep socio-ecological crisis of the Anthropocene age as well as a co-author of the recently launched ‘Financing Transformation: A Guide to Green Building for Green Bonds and Green Loans’, written in collaboration with the Green Building Council of Australia, BRE (UK), the USGBC and Alliance HQE (France).

    Regional Director, Asia Pacific, Ramboll Singapore Pte. Ltd.

    Nick was appointed the Regional Director of Ramboll Asia Pacific in January 2022. Previously Regional Director for Transport, Nick joined Ramboll as part of the acquisition of Smart Mobility Consultancy Vertix in 2018. Nick has more than 30 years’ experience in Engineering Consultancy, with leadership roles in Asia Pacific. He has been based in Singapore for the past 25 years. Nick has a background in Transport Consultancy and Project Management in the UK, Singapore and Southeast Asia, with project experience globally.

    Elaine Tan

    Deputy Director, Centre for Liveable Cities

    Elaine Tan is the Director of Research at the Centre for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development, Singapore where she oversees research in the areas of climate change, resilience, ageing and health. Prior to this, Elaine was Director of Strategic Research at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), where she spearheaded URA’s R&D efforts and directed key research programmes through Singapore’s Land and Liveability National Innovation Challenge, under the auspices of the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council. ​ Elaine was also formerly the Director of Architecture & Urban Design Excellence at the URA, working closely with the industry to advance the state of architecture and urban design in Singapore through new initiatives and programmes.​

    Sarah Katz

    Director, Sustainability, Ramboll

    Sarah has been working with sustainable development for nearly 20 years, bridging deep environmental, social and economic insights tied to the global green transition, focusing on how to communicate and operationalize them for companies, countries and regions. Based in Southeast Asia for ten years from 2001 – 2011, she consulted for international organisations such as the UN and worked for Asian Development Bank. ​​ Since 2014, she has been contributing to positioning Ramboll within the global sustainability agenda to put sustainability first in everything Ramboll does as a company, and through our solutions. She has driven large strategic initiatives such as Ramboll’s participation in New York Climate Week, COP23 – 27, mobilised all 18,000 employees for sustainability upskilling through Ramboll’s Sustainability Learning Universe, led Ramboll’s own materiality matrix development through two business strategy cycles, and driven Ramboll’s Annual Report process and Sustainability reporting.

    Khoo Teng Chye

    Director, NUS Cities and Practice Professor, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore

    Professor Khoo Teng Chye is Director, NUS Cities and Practice Professor with the College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore. He was formerly the Executive Director for the Centre for Liveable Cities and continues to be a Fellow at CLC. He was the CEO/Chief Planner at the Urban Redevelopment Authority, CEO/Group President of PSA Corporation, President and CEO of Mapletree Investments, and Managing Director (Special Projects) of Temasek Holdings and Chief Executive of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. He graduated with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from Monash University, Australia. He has been appointed a Fellow of the Monash University. A President-cum-Colombo Plan Scholar, he also holds a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School. He was awarded the Singapore Government’s Meritorious Service Medal in 2018, the Public Administration (Gold) in 1996 and the Public Administration (Silver) in 1987.  He was also conferred the Meritorious Service Award by the National Trade Union Congress in 2008.
