Officially opened on 1st July 2023 by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, NSW Premier Chris Minns, Rabbitohs Captain Cameron Murray, and Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker, the $58M Heffron Centre represents a decade of planning, design, and construction. It brings together the operations of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares, right in the heart of Sydney's southeast.

The Heffron Centre is a collaborative effort, funded by the Australian Government, NSW Government, South Sydney Rabbitohs, and Randwick City Council, and is operated by Randwick Council. The Centre of Excellence is proudly leased to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
