Crown Community Development
Theresa Frankiewicz brings more than 25 years of project management, land acquisition, entitlement and homebuilding experience to the Crown organization.
She began her service to Crown in 1993 as general manager and vice president of a 400-acre estate oriented master-planned golf community in Tampa Florida, overseeing all phases of land development, sales and marketing and club management. From Chicago, since 1997 she has developed and implemented Crown’s land investment strategy and entitlement work in multiple states, including pursuing the approvals of rigorous state zoning requirements for large master planned communities in Florida. She also manages the planning, rezoning and entitlement process for Crown’s land assets in Florida and Arizona.
Additionally, Frankiewicz serves as a consultant to several of the Crown Family’s investments in California and Arizona, directing the master planning and rezoning efforts for over 7,000 acres of land assets.
Frankiewicz is the past-chair of the Chicago District Council of the Urban Land Institute. She also is active nationally with ULI, chairing the National Community Development Council-Silver and serving as a National Trustee for the organization.
She holds undergraduate BA degrees in Economics and Communications from the University of Virginia. Frankiewicz also received her MBA from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia in 1987.
