Housing Opportunity 2013, March 20−22, will offer a full agenda of thought-provoking general sessions, interactive concurrent sessions, and networking breaks, but you can make the most of the experience by signing up for an optional mobile workshop!
Organized by ULI Northwest, three mobile tours will be offered during the conference. Each tour will provide you with an opportunity to hear from local experts, learn more about the challenges and successes of each project, and interact with fellow conference attendees in a fun learning environment.
On Wednesday, March 20, join one of two bus tour options to explore Seattle’s dynamic neighborhoods or the rapidly changing suburbs. Sign up to visit dynamic urban neighborhoods—Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, and South Seattle—and learn more about urban infill opportunities, transit-oriented development, and the many changes ahead for Seattle. Or discover Redmond and Bellevue—two Seattle suburbs—to explore issues of growth management and suburban redevelopment in the face of shifting demographics.
Don’t have time for a bus tour? Plan to explore downtown Seattle by foot on Thursday, March 21, with a walking tour showcasing downtown landmarks and innovative housing developments.
Seattle is at the cutting edge of residential development and community revitalization, and you won’t want to miss this opportunity to go behind the scenes. Ready to sign up? Be sure to select your mobile workshop options when you register for the conference.
