The ULI Houston District Council is searching for a District Council Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for urban planning and possess excellent communications and organizational skills. The District Council Manager’s overall responsibility will include planning and executing programs for Houston, as well as collaborating with district councils in Austin, north Texas, and San Antonio. This entails working closely with the Executive Director, Manager, Chair, volunteers, and other committee members to set the vision and execute logistics.
The District Council Manager is a professional position within the district council, serving as a liaison between the Executive Director of ULI Houston/San Antonio, the other Texas district council offices, and ULI headquarters in Washington, D.C., ensuring that all work is consistent with ULI’s policies and procedures, and that ULI Houston’s goals and objectives are met and ULI’s mission is carried forth.
The Triangle Associate position is part-time exempt (20-30 hours per week) and will report to the the Executive Director, Triangle District Council. As an integral part of the District Council team, the Associate serves as a professional liaison between the District Council, ULI headquarters, and ULI Triangle real estate, planning and development professionals. The Associate is one of the faces of the District Council – members call them first for assistance and information, so it is imperative that the Associate be courteous and friendly. The Senior Associate will play a critical communications role in the department’s objectives to ensure that ULI’s 73 District and National Councils (D/NCs) operate efficiently and effectively.
