The positon will have two primary areas of focus: 1) digital media strategy, content development, and partner engagement through a new online portal that the center will launch in winter 2015, which will serve as the go-to online resource for news, research, and analysis on how housing intersects with health, educational, and economic outcomes; and 2) convenings and awards program planning, execution, and marketing, including the center’s signature national Housing Opportunity conference and the annual Jack Kemp Workforce Housing Models of Excellence Awards and Robert C. Manager, Program Coordination and Outreach (Washington, D.C.)

In support of departmental objectives, the manager will serve as a liaison between and across the 73 D/NCs and the global headquarters, initiating, coordinating, and/or leading processes that facilitate communication about ULI’s research, expertise, and programming priorities generated by both the global headquarters office and the D/NCs.

The manager will create and use a variety of organizing tools that connect multiple ULI departments in the global headquarters with staff/member leaders of all D/NCs. Such tools will include monthly reports, a speakers bureau, a database of resources that support D/NC program implementation, conference calls and meetings for certain member networks, newsletters, administration of the Urban Innovation Grant Program, and other services that meet the needs of the manager and the department team.
